      Skylite videos are so relaxing I have fallen asleep in the evening to some of his videos. Only on an airline travel Channel is this considered a compliment not a complaint. 😏 I don't fly as much as I used to so this channel is a great substitute. ✈️😊

    Oh this is so beautiful. I love it. Just flew my LUV to vegas and back to Oak. I also love the new retro liveries they are putting on the Max's. Nice to go back and do that. I'm kinda over the white billboard. I thought the livery b/4 the white billboard was classy. The Southwest printed on the tail. Also glad to lose the bright yellow. But a whole lot better than a white airplane with some printing on it! Thank you for this very relaxing vid into SAN.

    Very smooth touchdown, considering that San Diego is not an easy airport to land at.

    incredibly smooth landing, especially for SAN

    I was watching this video wondering why it seemed so familiar, only to realize you were just on this plane a few months ago!

      Especially impressive considering SAN is usually known for its rougher landings haha.

    I'm flying for the first time next Saturday... I'm nervous so im watching flught videos so maybe I'll feel a bit more at ease then.

    • @ShadowHawk4219
      @ShadowHawk4219 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well, hopefully you have a jet without small kids crying and just being annoying. First time flyers might get a bit nervous when the plane encounters a bit of turbulence or when it banks a good amount when turning, but you get over it after a while. To get over any nervousness for future flights, try getting a window seat. Best wishes.

      Many other people have left comments about how they use my videos for the same reasons. They've helped a lot of people in this way. I hope they can serve you well, and try to enjoy the flights my friend! Thanks for watching!

    How do you record the longest flights? Do you hold on to the camera the whole time or do you use somthing to hold it up?

    • @sla31
      @sla31  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do indeed hold the camera the whole time. It’s the best way to get the best quality footage.

    Awesome landing...! The B737-700 landings are so much different from the
    long fuselage of the 800. Takeoffs and landings are very diverse as I have
    both aircraft in my simulator. PMDG "study-level" Boeing flight training is all
    that I have focused on as of late, I studied on Airbus for a year, I prefer Boeing
    where it has that hands-on feel to it...

    Wait do they share the airport with the military or something? I think I saw a C-17 globemaster during the landing part.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, SAN isn't a shared commercial airport/military base like HNL, for example. Not sure what the C-17 was doing there, but just because an airport isn't a military base, doesn't mean military aircraft won't operate there. Either way, the base answer to your question is no.

  • @KevinMeno2008

    "This signature Boeing 737-300" should be "This signature Boeing 737-700", since N647SW (737-300 that was the original Triple Crown One) was retired.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  ปีที่แล้ว

      So, I noticed this and so did many others. We've discussed it in other threads and have come to two possible conclusions. Since the original aircraft was a 737-300 and the overhead bins were saved to put in the new aircraft, we theorized that it's possible the cabin divider was also saved and from the original aircraft. In which case they might have left it "untouched" on purpose to leave is as close to the original plane as possible. The second option is they just missed it and forgot to change it haha.

    THAT is a spoiled child at the end that has always gotten their way, and obviously doesn't know how to be held in position and not allowed to run around! Magnificent, and relaxing video, otherwise. 🙂

      Thank s my friend. And to make it worse. I cut out as much of it as I could... So, there was a lot more before I finally decided I just didn't have time or the drive to continue trying to edit it all out haha.

    Oh how i wish there was a way to not have a video cam pick up any kids voices under 7 years of age. Nice vid as usual otherwise though.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And this was after I cut out as much of it as I could. I can cut some of it out and replace it with "good" audio, but sometimes it's just too much to deal with. This was a bad one. I did what I could haha. Thanks for watching my friend!

    • @ShadowHawk4219
      @ShadowHawk4219 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sla31 I know, you do enough to bring these vids to the masses, much appreciated, you can't control everything. An audio jack on your armrest that only has the audio from the cockpit which the pilots could shut off for security reasons would really be cool, we could learn all the lingo between pilots and air traffic controllers instead of the whining from kids ( age 1 month to 90). Keep them coming Skylite 👌

    What lake was that flying over it at 2:07:07.....I'm sorry for you having to hear that whiney brat crying and screaming......

    • @sla31
      @sla31  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe that is the Salton Sea you see there. And it is what it is. I always say, I can control my seat, I can't control my seat mates haha. This kid was particularly bad though. I cut out/replaced a lot of audio in this video... And it's still A LOT.
