    He cares and has intellect, the FF have like 3 MPs with a PhD. I read the whole manifesto and it's largely sensible, reasonable solutions. Spot on with economics for sure.
    I'd consider them. Disclaimer: I'm an English-South African from the KZN. Not the stereotype FF supporter (Afrikaner farmer from Free State)

    Is it wrong to want a recognition of group rights, promotion of independent communities, restoration of identity and protection of culture and diversity? We all have the exact same right than the next person living in SA. Yes, l am 100% for the upliftment of the previous disadvantage people but the policies the ANC used to do that failed as evident in high unemployment numbers, poor economic growth, health safety services falling apart.

    • @TheKnowledgeMan101
      @TheKnowledgeMan101 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There's nothing wrong with wanting to protect your culture or anything with what you're wanting. And while I agree with you that BEE has mostly failed in uplifting the previously disadvantaged, and I am against any affirmative action based on race because race just doesn't matter anymore since we live in an era where race just doesn't matter anymore so trying to address historical injustices is just meaningless because those injustices were done in an era when race mattered, but it doesn't anymore, so why do we need to focus on this dead issue.
      But I do support affirmative action, but it is based on class, but I have a feeling that alot of white people, especially white middle class people would still complain, because the type of affirmative action that I want is best summed up as "The poorer you were, the more attention and priorities you will receive" so poor people would still be first in getting a job over a middle class or rich man. But you bet your a**, that if I did only that, people would still complain about discrimination because this policy will disproportionately hurt white people more and advantage black people.
      And so I have a little suspicions about people wanting to protect their rights when it comes to the economy, but when it comes to culture, I have no problem with it.

    We can say whatever we want abt Afrikaners, but their leadership was much better than the leadership of today. Resources and Infrastructures were functional, skills were recognised and hunger and unemployment was minimal. Daar was loofheid skap, where unskilled labour was given a chance to be utilized somehow. Now the educated and skilled are worse off and young ppl are discouraged to even further their education cos they'll end up unemployed, unless they go outside the country. Food was cheaper and health services was of high quality and hospitals were a place of hope not death, when u went to the police station to report a case it wud be investigated and convictions were seen. I'm not saying everything was rosy but there was practical results in ppl's lives outside of the political clashes of ANC comrades and Defence Force. That's just my take

    Hi @Sakina, first big fan 🎉🎉🎉 , secondly I've seen this in a complex technical work environment.... the higher the bar...the more the growth....BBBEEtc...is raising the bar for non diverse candidates, and as a long term consequence also growing their competence at an accelerated rate, in the end achieving the exact opposite we are aiming for as a country, in my opinion the best model for reedress balances...both what is available in the market and local demographics. And the simplest model for this is best person for the job get the job, with additional checks and balances on cultural nepotism, team diversity etc.

      There are land what the ANC already bought and you can buy any farm what you see for sale. Nothing in the world is free. We all must working for what we want to become. All over the world is rich and poor people !! To be a farmer in these days are very hard , tax is high, diesel is high seeds , trekkers , cates , cattle you must buy everything then the rain stays away it is dry !! Better to have a job , your house , car and open one-day your own business. Life is very hard. But together we all can help to make life better.

      Yeah… the Land Reform Department, another ANC failure.
      The purpose of the South African land reform department is to address historical injustices related to land ownership and distribution in the country. The department aims to promote equitable access to land for all South Africans, particularly those who were disadvantaged under apartheid policies. It seeks to facilitate land redistribution, restitution, and tenure reform to ensure that land rights are protected and that land is utilized in a sustainable and productive manner.
      When will we see accountability from this department?
