Yea there is. If you use the skill on the top row and change the one on the bottom into the defense skill, it discards the one the bottom and you get 2 new skills from the deck instead of one. For example at 2:31 I have 2 sloth skills on Don and I can see the next skill I'm gonna get is a third sloth skill, I use the first one and turn the second into an evade next turn I have the third sloth skill and the evade from early, I turn the evade back into an attack and it's the gloom skill. It's faster cycling basically
