- Today we are happy to be able to collect some data from Betta fish Breeder. For us this data is very important because it can be used as a reference for spawning betta fish. Each breeder has a different experience, but that is not a problem, the important thing is we need to record these data.
We collect data in this video from some Betta fish spawning. then we count again to get the percentage number. We hope that this data can be useful for those who are betta fish worldwide. this video is part of our activities to campaign betta fish to the world community.

This video helped me classify my dumbo betta. He's a lavender! He is supposedly a half moon tail but I'm still learning to define between different half moon tails and delta tails as well.

one easy way to differentiate them is by the tail, normally deltas cant open their tails so widely

Great video! Do you know if the plakat betta, has the shortest fin? I have a dragon scale that fins are too big and can't swim properly so I wanted to know which ones are more like the wild, so my next betta won't have that problem.

Hi bro Chris Ceniza, thank you so much, If you want to make king crowntails/cross ray, it requires selective breeding and selective generation which is quite long.

to make clean solid color you need selective breeding. at least you need 4 generations to make it.
Inbreed = 1 colony brother/sister
Outcross = different colony/blood

I have a purple and red betta- he's a crown tail and only the tips of his fins are red but the red is a bright purple. And i have a red finned with almost a yellowy body which has a bit of a white tint. She seems to be a classic short tailed betta- nothing too fancy.

Nice betta pair, I think for the next generation will be dominant red fin color, but its not close the possibility that some will be yellow, cello, and purple colors.
