A suggestion: if someone reaps your leg try to defend it properly and let the ref deal with it. Don't want to take an injury trying to signal that your opponent is breaking a rule. For any gi specialists out there if you don't know how to defend those entanglements its worth learning at least a little bit for safety reasons.
That can be a good tool! I’ve heard that works for some people for sure. For me I just try to accept whatever emotions I’m feeling (nervousness, excitement, etc.) and not force anything.
That’s the ultimate question! lol. It was a lot of money. I worked as a software engineer for a long time (quit recently to be a full time TH-camr). Also for the record it was just 70 tournaments I had to pay for (gi + no-gi) in mostly IBJJF but also other organizations… but 260+ matches.
@@joshbeambjj appreciate the response! 70+ tournaments makes sense but you gotta invest into what your passion is right? Keep pushing bro! Channel will blow up in no time🙏🏽

Yeah exactly! Appreciate you 🙏🙏
Do you weigh in before every match, or just before the first one?
before the first match of the day, everybody weighs in, not before each one
