The law does not say you can’t protect your self. This is America. Bearing arms, owning firearms is America. The problem is everybody want a fire arm, has a fire arm or should not have a fire arm.

@@TodSpurlc I don't call the police for help and here's why. In 1975, several female roommates and a 4 year old girl were s..ually a..aulted for 14 hours by home intruders. One of the women called for help. The cop drove by but never stopped. She called back. The second cop knocked on the door but left when the r.pists wouldn't let the women answer. They sued and lost, with the court ruling that the police have no duty to help us nor to provide us with policing services. (Warren v District of Columbia)
In 1999, a woman had a protection order against her ex husband. He violated the order and took their kids. She called the police several times and even went there in person to ask that the order be enforced and that the cops help find the children. They refused and the husband kil.ed all 3 of them. The mother sued and lost. This case went to the supreme court who ruled the same as all the other courts. It's not the job of police to protect us. (Castle Rock v Gonzales)
These were two situations where the victims were in desperate need of help, begging the police to save them, but were deliberately left to suffer on their own. For at least the last 50 years it's not been the police's job to help us, with even SCOTUS making the definitive ruling in 2005.

The problem isn't with 3D printers.
Making a firearm at home has always been possible, and has always been legal with a metal lathe.
Doing so legally is protected by the Second Amendment.

It wasn't until the NFA 1934 that civilians no longer could own the same weaponry the military could. The sole purpose of the second amendment was to ensure citizens could defend themselves, their community and their country from all threats including invading armies and tyranical governments. During Washington's presidency and 2 years before his presidency there were 2 rebellions (shays and whiskey) and even then they didnt attempt to disarm the populace.

The atf can not make something illegal that has to be done by Congress and signed into law by the president. Having said that the number of rounds a weapon can fire is not the issue, it is the finger that is pulling the trigger that is the problem and who's finger it is.

Glock switches probably save more lives than they take as they reduce the accuracy of the Glock. In fact, going fully auto is so rarely useful that even most military units don't use that function except on dedicated machine guns.
The same with Bump Stocks. You have ZERO accuracy.
