I think it's great that you first found Dimash on The Singer 2017. It gives you the opportunity to see how he progressed and simply got better and better. I hope you do react to all of Dimash's performances from the Singer, and then go on from there. Yes, I love string instruments, especially violins, and the cello. The orchestra and background singers from this show are also amazing. Dimash was only 22 yrs. old when he appeared on this show. Adagio is an Italian word that means slowly. In music, it means to play at a slow and leisurely tempo. I think Dimash should have won 1st place on this show. However, he was the youngest and the first foreigner to perform in the history of The Singer. So of course, they would have to give it to a beloved and established Chinese singer. All of the other contestants were professional singers with established careers, and they were 10-39 yrs. Dimash's senior. He was invited to compete in this competition. Adagio is an Italian word and is used in music to denote tempo, which means 'calm', 'slow'. Dimash version is overwhelming. This song is part of the Lara Fabian's repertoire, a world-famous singer and songwriter. She wrote the lyrics many years ago to this classical baroque melody that cannot be assigned to any particular artist with certainty. The composers Rick Allison, Dave Pickell and Lara Fabian arranged the piece into a pop song.

I love everything Dimash sings but this piece is very special to me since I had the church organist playing it at my father's funeral. I was so hoping you were going to say Adam Lambert. The reaction to "The Singer" was that he became an overnight superstar in China with "S.O.S." He sang in English for the first time on this show, and his English has improved TREMENDOUSLY in the last 6 years. This was the 1st time sung in english. Each week he would have to learn the lyrics of course but in many songs he sung in this competition, he had to phonetically learn each song. 1st time away from home, no english or chinese can u imagine?
Yes he's getting better, for many reasons one being that his voice is simply maturing. Here i thinkmhe is only 22yrs old. This year of 20 23, he is 29.😊
Adam lambert was the stand out contestant from American idol, for me too. Went to see him with Queen in London. And yes, as soon as Dimash S O S came on you tube, I was hooked. I have watched him for several hours every day since. I’m 78 so have lots of free time. I’ve been to three concerts, Latvia, Dubai and Turkey. Such amazing experiences. I’m absolutely besotted. And, apart from his voice, his stage presence, his handsome sweet face and his humble, respectful nature, just draws me in. A Dear for Life (Christine)

A couple of very technical vocal coach reactors have said he is so completely relaxing his jaw muscles that the sonic wave of his vibrato is actually moving his jaw.

A MAsterful performance; how does he do it; who knows but DIMASH; I can't think of any singer I have ever heard that can do what he did in this performance. A one in a millennium talent without boundaries. I have seen this performance 100's of times or more, but get emotional every time at the same level; it's just crazy good.
