What is this bullshit? _"Why is breaking the glass in smaller pieces, before melting, important?"_ Uuhh I dunno I thought it would melt just the same even if you didn't but please tell me _"Because it creates more surface area so it MELTS FASTER"_ And I thought this was a fucking chemistry video and not business advice of course it melts faster, why would we even think in that context "well now that you ask, if _I_ ran a glass recycling plant that would be important for our efficiency even if it does not actually impact the process of recycling glass at all"
some say we can just wash and relabel it, that only applies to whole bottles, not shattered ones.
The magic in glass is in the reuse! In Brasil Ambev (a huge beverage company) resuses it's bottles even 20 times, depending on conditions
Only bottles of certain sizes, two sizes that i'm aware of. There are still few options here when it comes to recycling glass.
Very nice and I know what happens in glass recycling
Great! 🙌
Thank You!
No problem!
Will the glass be as strong as it was initially?
What is this process name??

How can i get a mold to make bottle
Stop glass recycling! Simply wash out relabel and reuse it!
YES! That's what i was going to say! The magic of glass is it can be deep cleaned and reused many many times. This recycling talk is nonsense!
When they crack, what do you suggest?
She literally just said it’s the EASIEST material to recycle. Like it’s barely a process. Why change the process that’s already too easy?

Why not just use the bottles after washing...
Recycle a glass
To make another glass
I put olive oil bottle in recycling, and always wonder if they really wash them thoroughly, as they are so greasy, and it's hard to remove.
