    You made an interesting comment about doing things that others aren't doing - I don't like to do what everyone else is doing - I think outside the box and go from there - it is too easy to get caught up in what others are doing but it saturates the market - trusting in our creative process is best - we come up with unique ideas and I love that process

      I get so caught up in doing this or that in exact same ways; too stressful. I’m struggling with UV resin projects. Intricate small molds, and did I pick the proper UV Resin?

      @nmbbeingintentionallycreative what's even crazier is you think no one else is doing it and the min you go on you tube you see it all over the place.

    Thanks so much Steve. It’s 8am in Australia & you have magically made what I was going to attempt today. The last time I tried I ruined everything getting gloves stuck to sticky & it all ending in tears & a mess. So glad you have given me a bit of guidance on the open back bezels & some great ideas. They are all gorgeous.

      @Barbara Meriton
      Oh, Barbara! ❤🤗❤ virtual hug!
      I totally get that scenario! My first attempt was a disaster and it was all I could do to keep from bursting into frustrated tears! I had resin *everywhere!* In my hair, on my clothes, ruined my tablecloth, the resin leaked out of the bezels (none left IN the bezels!)... ink all over everything. 😤😱 Think wailing and gnashing of teeth. 😅 I do hope all of your next attempts are crowned with happy success! ❤👍😊

      @@fairyspunfibers9098 Thank you so much. 😂🤣🥰You’ve given me such a laugh. I’d only just started using any resin & was attempting double sided photo bezels. Way too advanced but I saw a video so was instantly an expert 🤪. I kept moving them to the lamp & spilling them & gloves stuck to tape, photos bleeding. I’ve got loads of bezels & UV resin I’ve not touched since. I had decided to try today & was stunned Steve did this subject. I’m a lot more realistic this time & did learn LOADS from my mistakes. Fingers crossed 🤞. Have a great day! 😘

      @@barbseed4434 Thanks Barb. I definitely understand resin a lot better now thanks to Steve. So easy to watch a video & think it’s easy. Perhaps not the best hobby for messy, disorganised perfectionists with hand tremors but I’m learning to fail with a laugh. And the successes have made it worthwhile. 😘

    Hi Steve I use a foam mat that's meant for doing icing flowers it helps the tape adhere tighter and where the hoops are proud from the bezal I have sliced small nicks in foam to keep them still. Love all your hints and tips has upped my sales and given me many fab ideas for next years fairs. Had to miss the Christmas fairs this years due to son having cancer diagnosis. Next year going to do fairs to raise funds for the cancer centre so looking forward to getting some new products and refine my resin crafts.

    I had a bit of a problem lately with my Jdiction UV resin staying just a bit sticky even after curing a long time.
    I thought at first maybe it had been opened for too long but I've only had 2-3 months. Well I finally figured it out & didn't have to consider returning it thankfully.
    Turns out I just needed to change the batteries in my UV light & it worked perfectly again. So don't forget battery changes on UV lights.
    I'm actually thinking I'll try to get one that can be plugged in instead. I only really work in one little area. Plus I have my current portable big flashlight type too.
