I was just involved in one of these Escalation Workshops today and it brought me to want to learn more about this foundation. I think the work you all are doing is amazing, it's great to see that you are teaching students not to put the blame on the victim but how to truly help them and recognize the warning signs. The video is truly powerful & actually led me to tears.

Hi, Evette. I know this question wasn't directed at me, but I can lend some direction which might help.
I am an outreach coordinator for a domestic violence shelter and counseling center. Throughout the nation, many domestic violence shelters have outreach coordinators who are funded to go into many community organizations, including rehab facilities and high schools, to facilitate conversations about relationship violence, how to see the warning signs, and how to end it safely.
So, my recommendation is to look up the domestic violence shelters and counseling centers around your hometown and ask them if they have someone educating high school kids. If you can, try to talk to your old teachers and administrators to help them make a connection with the domestic violence organization to get a speaker into classrooms.
Health teachers often have units about sexual and social health, and most the time they're the ones who host me in their classes.
      I hope this helps!
      Warmly,
      Mariah

Dear Mrs. Love, I'm very sorry for your loss, no mother should ever have to go through such a tragedy. But I'm confused about the message you are sending, shouldn't it be "don't kill people"? Because you will probably regret it later? I'm sorry if I'm missing something here, I don't mean to be insensitive. But isn't it similar to rape crimes, don't blame the victim, just teach people not to rape.

Sad to hear stories like this but It's about character and morals TEACH YOUR Kids some morales stop coddling them and spoiling them , discipline them stop allowing your daughters to get away with having horrible attitudes and mouths and covering for your boys aggressive inappropriate behavior stop sending your kids out thinking nothing can happy because you have money or the right looks stop focusing so much on superficial things and actually PARENT your kids.
