@@terrapinalive6192 Thank you. It's a very good question. it writes "デパートの地下売場". It means "Department Store's Basement Sales Floor". Food are sold on the basement floor at almost all department stores. So that's why we call it "Depachika" for short.
Absolutely gorgeous! Love the window display at the Hankyu Department store! The food, cakes, candies in the department store are also so attractive. So many that, don't know which one to choose 😅 Thanks for a wonderful sharing! I miss Japan already hahaha! Hello, new friend here🙋♀My warmest greetings! 🙏
Show windows of Hankyu Department Store were really gorgeous. I spent more time in this video at around 32:15 .Please check it out if you are interested. th-cam.com/video/3H3KFXRzUh8/w-d-xo.html I hope you like it too.
Its amazing how much effort goes into every individual item. Compared to here in America, outside Washington DC, my family went out for breakfast at a BOb Evans, 4 of us sent our food back to the kitchen. Imagine for a second you order strawberry crepes, you get the worlds worst looking crepe with one tiny sliced strawberry, drowning in the neon red strawberry corn syrup thats supposed to be strawberry juice.
You just don’t know that Japanese prefers waring masks even before the covid 19. Also, if you are an office worker, your company will ask you to put them to prevent any infection. It’s a kind of our culture.

@@lovelyfuwafuwalin4227 reading comprehension is hard for you, isn’t it, sweetie? What good does a mask do to “prevent infection” if it DOESN’T COVER THE NOSE? And besides, hate to break this to you, but the particles that spread airborne illnesses (like colds, flu, Covid, etc) are too small to be stopped by a mask-they just move on through. All a surgical mask is meant to do is keep spittle and other human excretions out of the surgical field, it doesn’t filter out virus or bacteria. I’m all for people wearing a mask if it makes them feel better or if it’s “your culture”🙄, it just doesn’t do a damn thing to stop airborne/respiratory viruses. And does even less than nothing for the wearer when worn under the nose.

Is the name Depachika short for Depaarto Chikatetsu? Can you write the kanji?

The amount of people wearing masks under their nose is hilarious. Why even bother with a mask?
