    If Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal is bad for society. Then Quentin Tarantino like Filmmakers should stop making films????? How can people be so dumb. Tomorrow if you are watching a gangster film. Are you becoming gangster next day ??? It's a character it's a story you like the story or don't like the story or film that's a different thing. Bad for society??? Please then watch wedding videos films like Hum Saath Saath Hain or Hum Aapke hai Kaun. 🎞🎥🎬🤘🏻

      But he's shown to be surrounded by his loved ones and friends in the beginning of the movie(in the distant future), he's telling his story as if he's the second coming of Christ and is applauded by them
      No one there questions his decisions, no one's there to judge him for his actions
      It's shown that her wife left him but also that his son loves him despite of everything he's done
      He's shown ultimately to be like a flawed human who has made mistakes but is ultimately a tragic figure
      Even tho he's clearly a terrible human, cheats and kills and don't regret anything he has done

      @@AriaIsara the complaints are with the technique. when low camera angles are used as he walks over his enemies, when heroic music is played behind him as he walks in slow motion, the filmmaker does give away that he wants you to idolise him. Flawed characters have been shown in arts for hundreds of years, be it crime and punishment, or Madame Bovary, or Michael Corleone in the godfather. But you never saw Coppola ever saying through his shot taking that he wants us to admire Michael Corleone, in fact he used almost documentary like shot taking to show us the cracks and loneliness of this man who wants to stay away from everything that he became. That’s what people complained about with animal. The filmmaking, the shot taking was of a teenage boy who was way beyond his depth, his character was too complicated for his own understanding.

    • @AriaIsara
      @AriaIsara 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@sagrophobia you're incorrect. Badass music can be used when a villain is in action, it has been done many times in US content. It doesn't mean the viewer should idolize him. An example is Tom Cruise's character in Interview With The Vampire, and the use of the catchy rock song "Sympathy For The Devil" as he is about to kill an innocent man. Things aren't as black and white as you portray them.

    • @sagrophobia
      @sagrophobia 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@AriaIsara you’ve used a really bad example. A tragic vampire figure is fantasy. We’re talking about real people here. Gaze is something a filmmaker needs to be responsible for, I cannot be any clearer. Even Gaspar noe who makes the most controversial films about some of the most despicable people, uses music. But that music almost works as an ironic commentary to what’s happening on screen. It horrifies you. You need to watch a little more cinema than this commercial balderdash.

    Vanga is a phenomenal creator. He is very talented. You have every right to criticise as nothing is perfect in this world. But i challenge you to find faults in his craft, BGM, taste of Music and having a grip on a scene. His movies like reddy, animal is being taught is cinema school. Its huge in the movie making community.
    And you guys are against animal and never said a word agains gangs of wasseypur, Mirzapur, sacred games. That times all these critics praise Anurag. If u cant see this clear bias than sorry but something is wrong with your perspective. Its a movie, just a story. It would have been a different scenario if it went against our country or any religion.

      Which film school? Animal released in December 2023 and already added to the syllabus? There are legendary movies with self-destructing male as the lead like Taxi driver, Raging bull, fight club, wolf of wall street, Joker or a series like Breaking Bad. So I'm very interested, which film school chose Vangas movies ahead of these?

      Which film school?? Animal is an okay movie!! The director clearly understands how the audience's mind works!! Added chauvinism and sex unnecessarily for a storyline that was about a man who was craving for his dad's attention!! And the difference between him and anurag kashyap is that...he doesn't come to interviews and say that he stands by his character's behavior whereas vanga believes in his characters and thinks they r r8 ...and that my dear friend is the PROBLEM!!!!!!

      @@lavanyakrishnakumar8984Nowhere Vanga justifies his characters. See the end of Animal, it's a tragedy. The character, inspite of waging a war, betraying his wife loses his father to cancer, doesn't even get the share of love he deserved. His wife leaves him and there exists a psycho butcher chasing him for his blood.
      Vanga criticised the critics who not picked his film in the name of criticism and ignored all other aspects of his craft. He is a passionate filmmaker who loves his craft way more than anyone else, kind of possessive.

    Understand the real hidden agenda that Sandeep Vanga portrayed: he depicted "some" Hindu rituals and family bonds/companionship Unity in a very positive and subtle way. He also cleverly exposed an Xian pastor (pray confession drama). However, this portrayal was not accepted by the left ecosystem, which believes and influences exactly opposite to it and has a special love(?) for defaming, insulting, and degrading Hindu Dharma in a very soft, clever way. I respect this gentleman Imtiaz Ali, who is a master at it. The way he promotes Islamic imaginary beliefs through Sufi music is commonly popular. Additionally, leaving everything and going solo No family bond and how to protect it is not in his syllabus. This is the reason why Vanga is targeted - how can he achieve so much success and money, of course. In Last I watched Animal thrice in theatre and Proud of it what a cinematic experience it was.

    I think the animal scenario is trvialized. It would have been nice to discuss it a little elaborately.
    I agree if both the creator and the viewer exhibit responsibility it is great, if not it creates a mob like scenario that is dangerous. Then there is a definite need to regulate.
    A simple humble human being has a good reason that guides good and the bad.
    Unconscious commercial mob breaches the good and the bad constantly and create chaos and confusion for all.

    I disagree with Imtiaz, I believe artists do have a moral obligation to create work that is not dangerous to society. By Imtiaz Ali's argument, movies like Kerala Story and Kashmir Files should also be justified then, even though these films are made primarily to cater to the majority population, increase hatred against minorities, and create divisions in society.
