@@Jesusbride515 I woke up to the truth around to same time when I started staying at my grandmothers house a couple nights a week because it was easier and closer to school,she is a strong believer and told me to pray,I also have a cousin who just got cancer so I started praying and I realised that prayer actually worked,I've always been religious but never have I actually prayed before,I was just luke warm, a year later my cousin is showing no sign of getting worse, I ask Jesus every single night to help her and continue to deliver the good news and he does,so in return I repent and trust in him with all my heart strength and soul...and sorry I accidentally made a mistake in my comment up there,I was actually 12 when I got the Bible not 13, and it's almost 4 years later so basically 3 years and almost finishing which means in year 7 which I got the Bible,I would be in year 10 and almost year 11 since the year is almost finished,have a good day I didn't mean to confuse anyone so I'll go ahead and edit the comment

Greetings to you. We need your love..It is a great blessing to pray about the daily needs of our little ones and their building work. Many are losing their jobs or struggling because of COVID 19. We're in a lot of trouble here..When I was 54 years old my dad work very I struggle. Officials arrived on Sept. 29 and told the building to be finished with paint in 210 days..11 days have been completed so far. The GoFundMe, made on August 14 with a $ 30,000 goal, reached only $ 478..If I do not complete the building work in the remaining 199 days and not show it to the authorities with the colors .. they can cancel the building work and they are take possession of the documents in place.
Please I have to complete the rest of the work so that justice can be done to the work done so far..I am in poverty, pray that the financial resources needed to work with respect for them will be mobilized...Give your love in financial form about building work.

Preach like you're talking to the victims of 9/11 the day before it happened. Don't preach about how good life is and that it'll get better. Jesus said if you follow Him then it would get worse. Make sure you pray for wisdom. Praying is one of the most powerful things we can do.

Michele Allen’s Testimony:
I was born and raised in the small town of New Holstein, Wisconsin in good home. But deep inside of me there was an aching and hunger for more of this God.
When I was 17 I was shown in the Bible that “Ye must be born again”. I was told to say a “sinners prayer” I sincerely repented and cried rivers of heartfelt genuine tears. I was told I was “born again” But after I experienced feelings of the frustration and guilt of not being able to live for God Bc I kept failing Him. I could not seem to grow in God like the Bible talked about and continued to revert back to a sinful lifestyle. I felt utterly defeated Bc I could not stay faithful to God, His Word or His commandments.
It wasn’t until I was almost 20 years old, walked into an Apostolic Church in the Fox Cities and the truth of salvation came to light: The Gospel indeed is the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ: (I Corinthians 15: 1-4). The most amazing thing I ever learned was how to rightly divide the word of truth: The 4 Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John talk about Jesus’ earthly ministry: He healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out demons and did miracles, etc. In John 3, Nicodemus came to Jesus and Jesus told him unless a man be born again...so they talked ABOUT being born again JOHN 3:3-5 (except a man be born of the water and of the Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven) but no one was ACTUALLY born again anywhere in the 4 gospels.
Before Calvary they were still under the law but after Calvary they are under grace (Church Age) It was not possible to be born again until Jesus had been glorified. (John 7:37-39) This is why the thief on the cross was able to be in paradise. It isn’t until the day of Pentecost, in the book of Acts you witness people actually BEING born of the water by being baptized by immersion ONLY in the name of Jesus and BEING filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
To find out HOW to be born again go to the Book of Acts: Acts2:1-4,2:38,3:19,8:12-18,8:35-39,10:43-4816:30-34,18:8,19:2-6
John 3:8 Speaks of how you cannot see the wind but you know that it is moving because you see the branches move and you hear the wind through the leaves. And so is every man that is born of the Spirit. You cannot see the Spirit of God (John 4:24) but when it enters a man you can SEE and HEAR the evidence (Acts 2:33, 4:20): SEE tongue move and you can HEAR the words of them speaking as the Spirit gives the utterance.
- [ ] Whenever God gave a promise he always gave the sign to that promise. In the OT he made a covenant/promise with Noah: He would never flood the earth with water again and the sign to that promise was the rainbow. Then God made a covenant/promise to Abraham that he would be the father of many nations and the sign of that promise was circumcision. In the NT God promises us the Holy Ghost and the sign to that promise is tongues. In James 5 it says that the tongue is the most unruly member of the body. So when God has control of our tongue we have submitted our entire being. Matt 3:11-12, Luke 3:16-18, Acts 2:1-4...He will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with Fire...A fireman will fight fires with controlled burns. The evidence of the Holy Ghost is speaking in tongues. It will keep you out of the eternal flames of Fire! 🔥
Then, the Epistles are from Romans to Jude. They are letters written to the churches of Saints that have already been born again. (Acts 2:38 experience) So if you want to find out how to be born again you do not go to the Epistles, only to the book of Acts. In Acts and Epistles it does say to: “Believe on the Lord” and you will be saved. Well, believe what? What have the disciples been preaching this whole time? The Gospel! What is the Gospel? I Corin 15:1-4 the Gospel is: 1. Death, 2. Burial 3. Resurrection of Jesus Christ. (II Thessalonians 1:8) How do we OBEY (action word) the Gospel? 1. Repent (death to self), 2. baptism in Jesus name (Burial) 3. Holy Ghost (Resurrection) with the evidence of speaking in tongues in Acts 2:38-39 and John 3:3-8.
The Death, Burial and Resurrection/Repentance, Baptism and Receive the Holy Ghost theme is thread throughout the entire Bible. In Exodus when the children of Israel were in Egyptian bondage God told Moses to tell them to put the blood on the door post of the HOUSE 🏡 THREE (3) times and then the death Angel would pass over them and the firstborn in their house would not die. It’s the same for us: When we 1. Repent 2. Get Baptized 3. Receive Holy Ghost The blood 🩸 of Jesus is applied to us each time (if we OBEY we will not die spiritually) Bc in Ephesians 2:22, I Corinthians 3:16 and Romans 8:9-11 it says that we are the HOUSE 🏠 of God when He comes to live inside of us. In Leviticus when the Priest went into the TABERNACLE/TEMPLE to perform the ritual for the children of Israel to have their sins rolled ahead one year up till Calvary. The PRIEST applied blood on his body 3 times and he also applied blood on the 3 pieces of the furniture in the TEMPLE. The Bible says in first Peter 2:5-9 that we are royal PRIESThood . (I Corinthians 6:19) The Bible also says that our bodies are TEMPLES of the Holy Ghost. So it is the same for us: when we 1. Repent 2. Get baptized 3. receive the Holy Ghost. The blood of Jesus is applied to us.
Obedience or to obey is an action word. We can “believe” the light will turn on but unless we turn light switch on the light won’t go on. (Ephesians 2:8-9) We are saved by faith and not of works lest any man should boast. We are so often accused of works for salvation. When we are commanded to be baptized (Matt 28:19, Acts 8:48,10:45) we are simply being obedient to the gospel (2Thes1:8,Romans10:16,Acts6:7,Gal5:7) by having the faith to know that the gospel: Jesus death, burial and resurrection saves us.
I was almost 20 years old when I went down into the waters of baptism in Jesus name for the remission of my sin. When I came up out of the water I could hardly breathe because I felt like a brand new baby!! (at this moment, in a natural birth, the water, blood and baby is there but until the you hear the baby cry after taking in that first breath of air it could be still born. So you wait for the cry to know that baby is alive-so is everyone that it’s born of the Spirit) I began to speak in other tongues and could not speak English. It was the most amazing, the most powerful and the most enlightening and cleansing experience I’ve ever had in my entire life!! It wasn’t until at THAT MOMENT I was truly born of water and of the Spirit. Thus, BORN AGAIN!!! I was finally filled with the power to help me live a victorious life and to conquer many temptations that came my way. (Romans 13:14, Galatians 3:27) When you are baptized you are covered, united with and have put on Christ (Gen 3:21-God clothed or put on the coats of skins of a bloody animal to cover the sin of Adam and Eve), (Romans 6:4) you are buried with Him in baptism, (Acts 2:33, 3:19) you have your sins remitted, (Acts 4:12) you take on His name in baptism. Bc the only way anyone was ever baptized was in the name of Jesus! Matthew 28:18-19. Jesus said: ALL POWER IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH IS GIVEN UNTO HIM: SO ALL POWER OF HEAVEN AND EARTH MUST BE IN THE NAME OF JESUS. The name of the Father is Jesus (John 5:43) The name of the Son is Jesus (Matthew 1:21) The name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus (John 14:26) When you take on His name you become his Bride. When you speak in tongues that is the evidence of Jesus living inside of you. (Romans 8:9-16) You are then adopted and become the sons and daughters of God. The Holy Ghost is just a portion of our inheritance. If we do not have His Spirit dwelling in us we are none of His and we will not be taken in the rapture.
Those three years between the ages of 17-20 I was living on a repentance experience. “ Leaving Jesus hanging there on the cross” so to speak. (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:14-41, Acts 8:37-38, Acts 10:47-48). I was not obeying the command to be buried with him in the waters of baptism and I had not received the Holy Ghost so I could be resurrected to walk in newness of life. Therefore could not live a productive Christian life.
But now God has opened my eyes and understanding. He is so vast, So very huge that I can no longer keep Him in a box. I firmly believe that we should go out into the highways and by ways and compel them to come in to the church, cell groups, house meeting. The new converts need a place to fellowship with saints of like precious faith and to grow in Christ. They need a place of refuge Bc as soon as they get the Holy Ghost and/or baptized we know that the enemy is going to attack them hard. They need a Pastor, who not only shepherds and gently guides their souls but is accountable for it. It would be to their benefit to have a spiritual mentor to support them in their new walk while they are still crawling and drinking the milk of the word.
I believe we need to make disciples as soon as we become disciples. As soon we receive the Holy Ghost we can pray for people on the streets or wherever to be healed, to be delivered and/or pray them through to the Holy Ghost. And if there is water, what doth hinder them to be baptized? You can baptize them in Jesus name. Make sure repentance has taken place in their hearts and they have understanding of what happens in the waters of baptism. Since COVID-19, people are way more willing to be prayed for. I asked God how I can be used during this pandemic and He has answered my prayer: I am so excited as I have been able to witness, pray with and hand out Bible tracts and church cards to many on my daily prayer walks. I have witnessed healings, baptized and prayed them thru to Holy Ghost. Thank you Jesus for answering my prayer.

I love your testimony brother, but read the letters to Corinth. Paul specifically says that not ALL speak in tongues. The Spirit gives gifts severally to who he will, but not everyone prophesied, not every one healed not everyone spoke in tongues. This can be a huge stumbling block for a believer that might be struggling. It leads people to believe if they don't speak in tongues they're not saved. that could lead to heartache which I'm sure isn't your intention. Also be careful. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus finished work on the cross. Not works of our own. Baptism is a work. Yes after we are saved we have a desire to be baptised, but it's our faith alone in Christ that saves us. God bless you!

James Farris This is what makes it so interesting to rightly divide the word of truth. The gift of tongues/one of the 9 gifts of the Spirit referred to in Corinthians is not the same as when a person initially received it for Salvation in the book of Acts. Is this what you meant?

@@micheleallen1402 I'm just misunderstanding. Are you implying that if anyone doesn't speak in tongues after they're baptism that they're not saved? Because that is not rightly dividing the Word of truth ma'am and you may not realize it but many people don't and haven't spoken in tongues and yet are very much saved. Including myself which is why I didn't understand at first and why I wanted to reach out and maybe with God's grace help you understand this.

Edited: I say this not to praise any hidden knowledge of a particular denomination or person. My conviction is based on loving God with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength. People assume the most devious Christians on the planet are those who want to revive Sabbath observance in the light of Christ. Yet we seek first, the Kingdom, as well as His righteousness. These other things come for the benefit of the body, which I presently move and have my being in.

I once tried desperately to show and convince others who were really close to me about the Sabbath for a year and the only ones who were receptive was my mother and a friend from childhood. Eventually I just began to trust that revelation to God and well, the Lord does a better job than I do. My city is starting to talk about as if it was hidden from them.
