Ed and Jessie.... The shit!! Ed still rocks. His passion and love of God is paramount. It's a shame more rock bands similar to Collective Soul are not in the mainstream. CS is one of rocks all time greatest.
I saw Collective Soul play several times. The first time was at a small club in Detroit, Michigan in 1994. The bass player said "This is the biggest crowd we ever played for". At that time, their first hit was only on the radio for a couple of weeks! This is an amazing band, and even better today. - Terrance D. Schemansky, 3000 Records
You are so right I saw them at the Fox, the rooftop theater in Pontiac I think it's called a phoenix Center, can't remember & 2 more time. Every time I saw them it seems as if they just kept getting better and better a great band to see live. You got to see them if you haven't.
Wow, so this is what the early version of Right as Rain sounded like. Saw CS perform a few weeks ago, and I love the electric version of this song. And Jessie Triplett is an absolute beast of a guitar player. You have to hear him perform live to believe it.
I could not agree more with you I've seen them a couple times back in the day and once a couple years ago. It still has a amazing stage presence and captivates the crowd like he did back in the 90s.
Awesome! Enjoyed watching, and thought it was special when they allowed the young man to come play the guitar for December! Very entertaining! Thanks for sharing.
I am going see them next week here in Pacific NW. This is such a great band, especially when they play their songs acoustically. They did this in the past in Morocco, you can find it on TH-cam. Also, their first live album "Home" with the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra is amazing! Go Collective Soul! See you next week!
Sweet. Especially on Shine. The lead plays so subtle and smooth and blended. Really nice. Like he is a seamless extension of the singer and the other guitar. Best example of never overplaying and never trying to be the whole show.
Coolest of the cool, CS rocks!! And so awesome having a young man (Daulton) come up and play with them (I'd be freakin out!!!)...wow! Birth of an artist, right there! Thanks for posting this great video!
Ed Roland---one of the industries best. Legend.
I agree legend.

That kid will talk about that moment for the rest of his life! Yes, Ed that IS music! Unbelievable ❤️

Made that kids day for sure. Love stuff like this. This is how music should be.
Just hanging out and got to jam with Collective Soul...

CS is awesome & great deal to bring the young man up to play December with them.
Class act way to go Ed Roland👍🎵🎤🎸
That is exactly what music is about! hell yea!
Drove from Toronto to Rockfest knowing CS was playing! Missed this performance! Darn!

Great in-store concert. Love their new song and the classics were perfect. Even the sit-in kid did a decent job.
So good.
Just blessed talent.

Eya!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍huge Ed Roland fan👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼♥️♥️♥️♥️
flipping awesome
Such a reserved crowd. These guys should be double headlining with Pearl Jam!
all too busy filming it.
OMG who hands a young kid their guitar to play while he sings? Collective soul rocks!!! Great video!!!
Dave ghroal foo fighters and then gives it to him. Holy shit
That was cool with that kid on guitar!!
Now if only I could play some drums with them
love it
We need you in Tx
Ed Rolland still good
Shine what an excellent song like a song from the sixties or seventies
Thumbs up for giving the young fella a crack....
It is Will Turpin's son.
Rockhopper1163 Class act. Super cool guys
@@donnav6219 Which son?
Please come and play in the uk
Coisa de louco!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏
Ed is the best
I just love AYTA.
That's just sad. People are leaving during the performance. One dude said where's Ross.
Mein Herz ist collective soul
Why the hell are people walking out the door! Please I would never leave
Maybe they were going to the hospital because the music was so good they had a heart attack
nice
*sings... The world I know* wow.
camera never pans to the right. its a travesty if there are less than 5000 people crammed into that side of the record shop.
I don't think that young man had ever played a 12 string before.
For God's sake....PLEASE come back to Delaware
The clown in the front row with his arms crossed really adds to the ambiance.
lol
What exactly is he doing that's so clown-like?
Two people just don't get guitar rock acoustic or electric. Play in JAX, FL!
All I know is, last time I put my thumb out, I heard the gas hit the floorboard and tires squealing all the way. WTH
Amazing that talent this great has to play gigs at record stores. I don’t get it.
It's a more personal and intimate alternative for the artist and fans. They played a 25,000 person rock festival that night.
@@danphillips7927 Wish I was there.
It's for the love of music brother, just sharing his blessings ✌️
7:19 the guitar was a nice riff! I think they could add that to the song
The most boring crowd ever, Collective Soul is so amazing and Kansas is sleeping.
I swear I’m the only one in Lawrence Kansas who knows who Collective Soul is!
@@Jayce800 I'm in NZ and I know who Collective Soul are. One of my faves since I was a teen XXX
