I don't think I have ever purchased something on Amazon that quickly! I'm always happy to support a fellow Kalamazooan and penman! Keep up the great work and keep the cursive posts coming!
Glad to hear the course is getting more views. I learned from you and I always recommend your course to people online. It is excellent. Congrats on the work book!
Always very happy to see you posting and continuing to work in spreading educational materials for penmanship. I still go thru your videos for inspiration and reference. I especially like the "lowercase 'l' we're going to figure this out" one. I forget the exact title but it's something like that. Ascending loops are a challenge for sure.
I am very grateful for your course and I still refer back to your videos occasionally when I am starting to get careless with some of my letters. Best wishes from England and I hope that the workbook sells well.
This is great! Working trough a book also gives a tangible project to make progress on. I learned from e-reader reading that I tend to miss the physical aspect of books. I suspect it may also help me with this type of practice. Thank you for providing this option 😄
I haven't been in the loop with the channel for a while, but this video came up in my recommendations. I am a sophomore in college, and I self-taught myself cursive in the 3rd grade but haven't used it much. In recent years, I've wanted to get back into it, but the amount of options to go with is overwhelming. I appreciate this video - it makes it a lot easier when you can put a face to the person making the material. Plus, a very reasonable price too! Just bought it
Lovely Idea! May I suggest you make a spiral bound version that is bound on top? That way, it is easier to change angles to align for best posture 😀. I'll definitely get one or more :).
I wish! I’d have to find a publisher that is willing to print the book spiral bound, which is unlikely. For now I’m publishing with Amazon and they don’t offer a spiral bound option.
Hi, David! I’m really enjoying working through the Consistent Cursive course (almost finished) and am seeing huge improvements in my handwriting. I practice by writing on the worksheets and I’m comfortable writing in the larger style. However, I’d like to be able to apply this same consistent cursive in a standard A5 ruled notebook, where the lines and spacing are much smaller. Could you offer any tips to help me transition to writing in smaller spaces while keeping the same flow and consistency? Thank you in advance and kind regards!
Honestly, just need to practice. I think you'll find it natural to simply write smaller when you are using a smaller grid. All the ratios stay the same, they are just smaller. The only tip I have besides practice, is to use a pen with a finer tip. If you have big broad pen tip laying down a really thick line, it makes writing at smaller sizes difficult.
Hi, David. I'm thinking about buying the Palmer method and learn to write with my arm, but I don't have any prior knowledge with cursive. Should I start with with consistent cursive? Thank you

Thanks Ryan. You’ve gone deep into the archives! Was just doing some writing last night and took some video. Probably see a new video soon!

@@getuliofreitas809 ya i would start with consistent cursive. Might as well, it’s free and you’ll learn a ton that you can apply to learning Palmer.
