If you can find one of these Rapp Tarzan kick sleds - it is well worth it. Our winters are -20 degrees C but we rarely get the type of ice needed to use the kick sled as designed - Adding a couple of wood runners did the trick for me. Thanks for the comment.
The yellow runners were cut from an old hockey rink board - its a very robust plastic which will not crack in extreme cold conditions. This sled used to be pulled by my sled dogs and we would clock an easy 15 Km per hour. You should build one - it's fun to put together and even better to use. The bonus is you have a built in seat when ever you want to chill out. Thanks for the comment.
