Coming back to this side project after hearing where blink and ATL went from here, this was the most necessary thing for both bands. I feel Alex helped Mark redefine his vocals and Mark helped Alex with song writing and development. Such a perfect combination that worked out for the better of the two bands
I love that ATL and Blink fans get really upset over Simple Creatures because it sounds “too poppy”. Guys, it’s not meant for you. It’s meant for a new fanbase and is intentionally supposed to sound as far away from those bands as possible. They should be allowed to do what they want to do without parts of the toxic fanbase trying to voice their disgust.

It's so much like The Cure till the chorus, which is pretty much like All Time Low. The video captures the gothic atmosphere of a lot of The Cure songs but at the same time has the signature humor of Mark Hoppus. Amazing.
Let me just say: -Mark & Alex using torches/flashlights as lightsabers give me life! -THOSE ZOMBIE DANCERS ARE AMAZING! -Why does the zombie guy with pink hair remind me of Lauv? & HOW DOES THIS NOT HAVE *AT LEAST* A MILLION VIEWS YET?!?!??!?!?!!!?!?!
As a security officer in real life, I can say it's a great job for men who have no tolerance for a woman's bullshit and only need to provide for themselves.
