Communism and socialism is not retardation, it's liberation of the proletariat from their chains, debt, and landlords. The true retardation is capitalism and fascism, capitalism's byproduct.

The Polish anthem "Dabrowski masurka" was created in the 18th century, and the melody is a Polish folk dance with a much longer history. It was very popular in Europe in the first half of the 19th century, especially after Polish uprisings (Poland was invaded by Austria, Prussia and Russia and divided between these three countries at the end of the 18th century - for about 100 years). "Dabrowski masurka" became popular generally among the Slavic nations who suffered under the occupation of Austria. First, one of the Czechs transformed it into the anthem of all Slavs, writing new words to the Polish melody (so that they would have the same attitude to fight for freedom as the Poles), and then it became the favourite song of the Yugoslav partisans during the World War 2. After the war, Yugoslavia (or rather Josif Broz Tito) decided to make it Yugoslavian anthem and also a symbol (similar to the Polish attitude) of resistance to the overall hostile expansion of the USSR at that time. For 250 years, the Polish anthem has been played in a lively, optimistic rhythm of the mazurka. Yugoslavian one - was played at a slower pace.
I am from Poland and yes, Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth had 3 partitions before it completely dissapeared from the map of the world. 1st partiotion was in 1772, the second one was in 1793 and the last one - the 3rd partiotion when Poland was completely demolished - 1795. Poland wasn't existing for 123 years until 11 of november 1918 when we got our independence back and we became the 2nd Republic of Poland with our national anthem beeing "Mazurek Dąbrowskiego" ("Dabrowski Masurka") written by Józef Wybicki in 1797 when he was in Italy. "Mazurek Dąbrowakiego" is still our national anthem to this day, and 11 of november is our independence day. Yall know what happened wuth Poland in 1939 🥸 And we weren't independent again until 1945, when we came back as PRL - Polska Rzeczpospolita Ludowa (Polish Peoples' Republic). We became a communist country till 1989, when communism collapsed in Poland. And our anthem is still "Mazurek Dąbrowkeigo" 😅
@@russian_supremacy Get lost, rus bot, carry putin's shit in a suitcase. The words of the anthem - called the Song of the Polish Legions in Italy - were written by Józef Wybicki. Wybicki was a Polish writer and politician, chamberlain of King Stanisław August Poniatowski. The author of the melody, based on the motifs of the folk mazurka (the mazurka is one of the 5 national Polish dances, and was originally created in the 12-14th century in the region of Poland called Mazovia), remains unknown. Initially, it was believed that this melody was composed by the Polish prince Michał Kleofas Ogiński (creator of the polonaise - Farewell to the Homeland), then archival materials denied this, and it is simply assumed that it is an anonymous "folk melody" hummed by Polish legionnaires. The song was written in the city of Reggio nell'Emilia in the then Cisalpine Republic (now northern Italy), where the Polish Legions were stationed.

Tito had a same goal as Lenin did, to eradicate capitalism and eventually establish true communism, which never country had before.... He respected Lenin and had good thoughts about him, as he was very ambitious and selfless leader, who wanted to free people from the hand of capitalist. Lenin made every citizen equal, no matter the differences in religion and nationality. Same were with Tito, he enforced harsh law of respect to others and protected minority... He did not like violence and rebellious spirit between his people... He propagated "Brother and Unity"... He had an argue with Stalin, because Stalin was jealous he is not the leader of every communist state and also was feared of his power. Stalin sent assassins, five of them, to eliminate him. Then Tito send him a threat note, which stated:"If you do not stop sending assassins, I will send the one and I will not need to send another one". Tito was also falsely accused by Stalin, that he leads his state right to the capitalism. By the decision of Supreme Headquarters he did not resign... Yugoslavia felt apart from various reasons, like poverty and selfish and oppressive politics of the further president of Yugoslavia, Slobodan Milošević, who propagate and stand behind Serbs and he also encouraged exploitation, abusive intentions to minor Croats and Bosnians. Many powerful countries loyal to America were the key of destruction of communism in Europe...

As a Russian, the destruction of Yugoslavia generated in me the greatest sadness ever experienced. It has also generated a lot of dispointment regarding the Western approach towards this unfortunate historical fact. Slava are special people; maybe slightly wild but extremely gifted, extremely creative and quite traditional in their way of life. A Pan-Slavic union would be an economical and military force to reason with.
Do you think the West recognizing the fiction of Yugoslavia's existence for about a year after the nations decided to withdraw from it did something wrong? If you can't see: this is sarcasm. Russia, as well as Serbian nationalists, like to accuse the West of the breakup of Yugoslavia; however, one can compare the behavior of the West, which refrained from recognizing the breakup that was taking place (Slovenes and Croats voted first in free referendums to leave Yugoslavia) with the attitude of Russia, which deliberately and treacherously tried to break up other countries and annex parts of them.
@@PKowalski2009 First of all nobody asked the west to interfere in Yugoslavia excepting their self entitled arrogance. And thier reason had nothing to do with what's right or what's wrong, quite contrary, the more divided eastern Europe is, the easier it is to control it and the bigger the profit since nothing happens without following the money. It is a strategy well perfected by the British upon the dissolution of the colonial empire. As for what Russia's attitude is, look deeper into the history from 1992 onwards, then we can continue the discussion.

Whatever my opinions on socialism, communism and all similar forms of retardation, I must admit that old man Tito had a firm grip and control over the Balkans. Unfortunately no one else could fill that role, and therefore the state failed, explosively so.
Communism and socialism is not retardation, it's liberation of the proletariat from their chains, debt, and landlords.
The true retardation is capitalism and fascism, capitalism's byproduct.

Great anthem for a great country
Yeah, Yugoslavia was pretty good. It was a perfect blend and mix of... Well... Everything, it merged Communism and Pan-Slavism together and was both loved by the East and West, and the economy was pretty great during the Titoist era. Unlike the Eastern Bloc before the 80's non-diplomatic foreigners could actually travel freely in and out of the country. I think all Communists and Socialists should follow the economic model from Yugoslavia. I might convert to Titoism soon.

Yall know what happened wuth Poland in 1939 🥸
And we weren't independent again until 1945, when we came back as PRL - Polska Rzeczpospolita Ludowa (Polish Peoples' Republic). We became a communist country till 1989, when communism collapsed in Poland. And our anthem is still "Mazurek Dąbrowkeigo" 😅
That anthem was created by Italian composers during the polish immigration to Italy

Its amazing of how tito managed to make multiple ethnic groups get along with each other. his death proved that ability
By bashing one to almost extermination and allowing privileges to others

As a Russian, the destruction of Yugoslavia generated in me the greatest sadness ever experienced.
It has also generated a lot of dispointment regarding the Western approach towards this unfortunate historical fact.
Slava are special people; maybe slightly wild but extremely gifted, extremely creative and quite traditional in their way of life. A Pan-Slavic union would be an economical and military force to reason with.
Yeah, it could be.
Without RuSSia , of course.
