I passed today, I was super nervous, I had my appointment at 8 am and I woke up at 5 ! Lol. My advice is : Do not become stressed if you make a mistake, I made a few and still passed because I focused on the important things : Obey the speed signs, be super careful with cars / pedestrians coming your way, don't hit the curve. (And as much as possible : make full stops when you see the stop sign, look over your shoulder when you turn or change lanes, signal ). Ask God for help ! :)

I have the most bitchy examiner and I didn’t passed it. I only have 6 mistakes and one critical error which is the speed that I did while changing lane. I was on the 45 mph and when she told me to change lane and I did, but I slowed down to 33 mph because we were almost to the stop light. And, I didn’t even brake while changing lane and that’s how she gave me the critical error.

How did it go? I just passed my driving test an hour ago!
I failed. The examiner was so harsh on me from the start. We had a very bad start. He got mad at me in the parking lot. To be honest I wasn't comfortable with him. I was already nervous and he made me feel worse. I rescheduled and ill be having my test next week. I failed because I was at a stoplight and made the turn. I made sure it was clear. Because I know I can make a turn even when it's red. But there was a car and I cut him off. I know it was my fault but after having a bad vibe with the examiner, I just could not concentrate.
He got mad at me because I was in the driver's seat and all I wanted to do was roll down the windows. It was hot in Cali.

I was watching these videos before my first test. Unfortunately I failed the first time cause my nerves got the best of me and I ended up going too slow, 20 mph in a 35 mph zone which was a critical error. After that I was watching these videos nonstop up until yesterday when I did my 2nd test, I passed with only 2 minor errors. These videos really helped me especially after I lost a lot of confidence from failing the first time.

Hey guys! So i just passed my road test today in south carolina. Failed the first time for not making a COMPLETE stop at stop signs. So let me share with you some tips that helped me pass:
*check your state’s DMV website and look for the road test part. take note of the things they will be testing you on so you’ll know what to expect.
*when changing lanes: signal -> look on rear and side mirror -> look ahead -> check over your shoulder (for blind spot) -> look ahead again -> change lanes
*Do a complete stop on STOP signs. Make sure your mph is on zero. Count to three before proceeding even if there is no car is coming from the sides.
* when turning, stay on the lane you’re turning to. For example, you’re on the right side and intend to turn to the right, keep you car on the rightmost lane.
*always do left-right-left checks when passing through an intersection.
*be aware of signs around you especially the speed limit on that road. My evaluator asked me the speed limit twice so make sure you know!
*dont go too fast or too slow. They also deduct points if you’re too slow. Too fast means automatic fail. Thats why it’s important that you know the speed limit.
*practice around your DMV area. Look for nearby intersections, school, construction area, or residential roads where they most probably will test you. Being familiar with nearby roads will also help with your confidence as you would know what to look forward to.
*for 3 point turns: signal to pull the edge of the road-> do checks (mirrors, sides, over shoulder) ->signal to where ur turning -> turn when clear ->do checks again before reversing -> drive straight
*parking on a hill. you only need to remember one thing: uphill with curb -> turn wheels AWAY from the curb, put on park, then emergency brake. Think CUP, CUP and AWAY! (Like up up and away. C for curb, and UP for uphill, just a thing i made to make me remember easily 😅). Everything else is TOWARD curb.
*practice parallel parking on the DMV site designated for parallel parking. Do it before office hours, preferably early in the morning.
*don’t think about what your evaluator is writing on his or her score sheet. It doesn’t mean that if he’s writing down something, that you made a mistake. They’re just simply taking note of what they score you on each part.
And most of all, pray and call on the name of Jesus. It was raining HARD during my test but it still went well. And this is my way of thanking my Lord, by helping others because He helped me first.

I just couldn’t shake off the anxiety but once I got the car running, everything went to plan 😁 and I got a lovely note from my driving proctor. Just take it slow and you’ll do amazing!
passed my test yesterday, first try with 1 error! don't let anxiety consume you - just imagine you are driving with a friend or parent. it is fairly easy and you got this!

I took mine a week ago and passed!! It really wasn’t that bad. They’re not looking for the perfect driver, just a safe one. Who won’t harm themselves or other people on the road. Follow the speed limits use your blinker always look both ways in any intersection. You’ll be fine!

I didn't pass my test last week, the reason is I got a critical error. I didn't get a single deduction I was driving perfect. But he got me at the end with a last second turn and I didn't check my blind spot

@@oatmealgains2617 the ones I can name off the top of my head is hitting the curb when parallel parking, over exceeding the speed limit by more idk how much exactly, not obeying traffic signals, and if the instructor ever needs to take the wheel from you because you were gonna hit something
Just had my test today. July 6th. 11 errors. Be calm and be aware. Just pay attention and drive within limits never over the limit. Look into mirrors continuously to the point the instructor knows and you know. The advice the instructor gave me was to drive normal and be calm because if you scared, you more than likely drive unsafe or make mistakes. Good Luck to everyone and thank you for these videos. Did my test today. I failed for simply going over 3 to 5 miles over speed limit and because they say I don't check my blind spots. It's not enough to simply look at the side and rearview mirror. You have to literally turn your head when changing lanes. Make sure you don't repeat this mistake.
This is common sense. Your mirrors have blind spots and looking behind you gives you a better view if anyone is in them or not.
Plus those fast drivers can suddenly wind up in your bind spot and you can be turning to them.
@@arielsea9087 Its true. I work at my state's DMV and do about 20 road tests a day. Ive seen kids not check their mirrors, not use turn signals, not turn their heads to the rear, some just change lanes without even looking and just assume nobody is next to them. Then we get the middle fingers and the long car horns lol. Many adrenaline-filled moments, especially on a busy highway.

Don’t worry! I took my test yesterday and didn’t miss any points! The main thing you have to focus on in the car with the instructor is your nerves. Once you conquer that, just remember basic road knowledge and you’ll be 100% ok. You just gotta take away their right to fail you! Good luck!

I took my behind the wheel driving test 5 months ago and passed on the first try only missed 6 errors and everyday as I get in my car to drive to work I get more and more comfortable to the point I am driving with one hand

Update- I passed with one error only. I also drove on the freeway. Don’t be nervous just make sure you always shoulder check whenever you turn on your turn signal to be safe. Also, on solid green dot make sure you yield to the people going straight and Pedestrians if your turning left. Finally when your backing up shoulder check and put your hand around the back of the passenger seat then go based off your mirror

Your instructor was cool bro. I failed my first time for turning right on red when it wasn’t safe. A car was RIGHT behind me after I made the turn, but she still considered it a dangerous maneuver (critical driving error) My instructor wasn’t nice either. She didn’t have the attitude yours had, and didn’t even strike up a conversation with me either. My second try is next week and I’m really confident with everything now. 👍 thanks for this video !

Congrats to everyone who passed today. I got mine 5 months ago and I still can’t believe how I got mine since it was one of my long term goal. I also almost failed because I was going go through a yellow light. Always treat yellow lights as if it was red!

Passed mine last Friday. The guy didn’t even get in the vehicle due to COVID. He just watched me drive around the parking lot and make sure I did all of my maneuvers right (turn signals, complete stops, use of ALL mirrors, parallel parking efficiently, and location of the cars amenities)

I passed my Driver's License Road Test yesterday and I'm so thankfully to this channel for that. In the last moment, I mainly took lessons on-line from two channels and this is one of them. I passed even though I've been behind a wheel in my entire life no more than 5 hours. I don't recommend going to the test without any practice at all but in my case, I couldn't afford to drive a car for several reasons in a long time until now. I spent hours even by the early morning, watching these videos on TH-cam. Despite of I couldn't go out to practice in a car I got in my brother's car parked on the driveway and although inside my mind, I render all maneuvers again and again to get proper assimilation. That was my attitude and if I could do it, you can too! Best wishes and Good Luck!

Its pretty nerve wracking at the start but if you stay calm and relax and remember everything that you learned and practiced, its a breeze. this is also just my experience but once I started driving on the road almost right away, I wasn't nervous anymore and began to focus on the road so dont worry too much just breathe and you got this :)

i watched this channel's videos all morning and PASSED my test today!! i FAILED YESTERDAY so trust me it just takes a little confidence. literally my instructor yesterday knew my mistakes were only out of self doubt since i continuously showed i knew i had made a mistake but she had to fail me obviously (not that she wasn't already harsh to begin with tho.. regarding her attitude towards me and everything- that didn't help), and today i tried to shove all that away and i had a really great instructor and passed with flying colors. my only mistake was sorta bumping the curb since it was on a weird angled incline, but in chicagoland that's not the same "automatic fail" as apparently is in california? especially since i showed him on two other examples that i know how not to hit it. so i passed! just have confidence in yourself, self doubt causes dangerous hesitancy or stupid rule-breaking mistakes that you normally wouldn't have made. trust me. &good luck all!

I took my test today. I passed even tho I hit a curb when turning right 😓 I have no idea why the examiner didn't fail me for that, he acted like he didn't notice 😬
I mean in all honesty, if no ones life was put in danger, pretty meh minor fault at best. Bigger vehicles could have multiple clearance issues on turns too, or he was just having a good day.

I just took my test last Saturday and I failed. It was my first time to take the test and I was very nervous, my hands were literally trembling! So, I was on a very busy intersection with a left turning lane in front of me. The instructor told me to turn right and during that time I was facing a red light. So, I stopped completely, did my shoulder checks and signaled, then I proceeded to turn right. But my biggest mistake was that I forgot to check the vehicles in front of me, which during that time has a left turning vehicle. And is facing a green arrow light. So, immediately, the instructor stopped me because I should yield to the left turning vehicle first before I could proceed in turning right. 😭😭😭 It was a major safety issue so I was automatically failed. I hope my experience could help other people here who are about to take their exams too! Please do not forget to check your surroundings especially the signal lights of the vehicles because it is their way of communication. I will still continue to practice and then book another road test. God bless you!

I passed yesterday, watch the videos they are very helpful. Was really nervous until I started the test and once you do you feel fine. I only practiced about 6 times, it’s really easy if you are focused and confident.

I took my drivers test for the first time yesterday and passed! It’s not as scary as it seems, so don’t be to nervous otherwise your gonna make silly little mistakes :)

This video reminds me when i had my very first driving test here in the US. Never had any behind the wheel experience back in my country. During practice my husband is the one coaching me but he is too strict and occasionally he is yelling at me while driving😁 that makes me feel even more nérvous but i thank God i surpassed those challenges. gladly, i passed my road test on my first try. Thanks to my husband! Congrats to all who passed their driving test regardless how many times you took it. And goodluck to those who gonna take their test soon.
I usually don’t comment much, but I would like too say thanks for all the tips for the Tests I was confident had a nice examiner and I did really well with 5 marks, this is my third test I did but I really appreciate the videos and they really helped me pass so thank you!

I failed twice and my instructor was pretty strict, i only have one more try to pass so just gotta keep practicing and hope I get someone nice, I just let the nerves get the best of me and sometimes feel I’m not confident enough, I’m going to try at another dmv near me so hope I can get it this time🤞Any wishes of luck would really help! I watched these videos till 9pm last night studying what I should and shouldn't do. I passed with only 2 errors! She said she's never seen someone do this well. I was nervous on parallel parking but it was easy as a piece of pie!

I love these videos, they help me relax and not worry so much about failing my drivers test when I do go to take it, but I take my permit test next month and I do study every single day to keep my mind fresh with memorizing the answers and questions, I wish everyone the best of luck on their drivers test.
The permit test is pretty easy. I studied for 2 hours the night before and passed. A lot of people I know didn't study at all and still passed lol.
