I was on a learners permit for three years because I was terrified to take my drivers test, Which actually made me more prepared to take my test. When I finally mustered up the courage to do so, it went as smooth as glass. The instructor was amazed at my ability. I passed with flying colors and was even told by the instructor “I would love to be next to you on the interstate going 95 miles an hour” Absolutely no errors and he would’ve given me extra bonus points if he could. This is not intended to toot my own horn but to show that practice and repetitiveness will help you in the long run
Good on the instructor for noticing the other car following and having her pull over to lose them. This is another thing yall need to be aware of when driving, is when someone is following you. My advice is to take 3 turns in the same direcrion, and if they're following you'll know. 😮

Anyone who gets these kinds of routes on their test is sooo lucky. Barely any traffic, intersections, majority in quiet neighborhoods… I’m jealous. I have my test in a few hours 😭

GOOD LUCK TO ANYONE. (ps. if ever u don’t pass, that’s okay too. just make sure u practice. practice. practice. so u will shine the next time around)
Had my test yesterday and passed. Just keep calm, it’s nothing new. I almost reversed into traffic and I still passed because I corrected myself. It’s okay to make mistakes just appear confident, don’t make any nervous giggles, behave confidently and you’ll drive confidently.
I'm so glad I've already done my test almost 4 years ago, and got it out the way. August 29 will make it 4 years. Wasn't expecting to pass on the first try during the pandemic, especially with little driving experience at the time but hey, not complaining. 😊 To others out there who still need to take their tests, don't over think it, most of this is common sense, don't get nervous as i think that is the main reason why people fail, y'all will be fine. 🙏👍

I just turned 34 and got mine a few days ago. I got my first permit at 17 and had to get it 5 times because I kept barely driving. Anxiety sucks sometimes, I finally started driving and used literally my entire year to practice. I passed with only 1 error.
I'm 45 guy's and I had my permit since 2011 I never got the chance to practice much cause I didn't have a car and relied on others to teach me but they never were interested I just signed up for classes and have my driver's test on the 8th🤞🏽
I passed my test a couple weeks ago and this is my experience. It was my third try at the same dmv i failed my first attempt for a rolling stop (severley nervous and not thinking) my second attempt i had a very rude examiner who failed me for a slow speed attempt, her reasoning, i pulled into a part of the road that looked like part of the road and if I had asked her if it was part of the road she wouldve said no and let me try again. My final attempt I was blessed with a very kind man who made me feel at ease he took a look at my record and said "ooh you had mrs. Blank (keeping the name private) he told me hes heard some stories about her and that it most likely wasnt my fault. I breezed through that attempt as if i was driving with a friend and I passed. So everyone wants to tell you your examiner doesnt wanna fail you and its just their job blah blah blah but if your examiner seems very rude and makes you feel tense you most likely will not pass so for those of you in the same boat i was in just remain calm and dont focus on the examiner instead focus on your driving and know in your head that youve got this. I pray many of you get the examiner of your dreams like I did no one deserves to feel less than because they failed an attempt
Thank you for sharing your experience. Today was my road test & I failed on my first attempt. I was super nervous & when I saw my instructor I instantly got a vibe he was not very nice. He told me to start the car & open the windows which I did. Then he told me to turn on some lights. While turning on the headlight I got super nervous & it was not turning on for a second. Then he told me that you don’t know how to operate your car so I am gonna fail you in 2 seconds & I don’t need to take you to the road! That’s it! That’s when all my confidence & hard work went into vain. I knew I am gonna fail. He was super rude. I am so devastated right now. I said sorry to him that I am nervous & he was like it’s okay to be nervous but you need to know how to drive the car… my point is if you think someone is not ready yet 100% fail them but what gives you the right to take their confidence away? You don’t know what kind of person that is… a little bit of nice gesture will not make you any less. When I told everyone that I failed no one even believed so that was even more upsetting for me. I can’t think of anything else except how rude he was. I think I lost my confidence in driving the car.
Taking mine tomorrow ! Update: I PASSED!!! 😝 🎉 For those who will be taking it, you guys got it. Just relax and believe in yourself that you can pass! Have a good nights sleep and breakfast.
Passed my exam yesterday, examiner(lady) was so fine. I slightly touched the curb 2 times, but the lady was terrific she ignored those mistakes and passed me. I was checking every mirror after 10 sec, and I was driving on the perfect limit. I reviewed my Blind Spot each time I turned. Thank god I got a license

Same My test was in one week and the whole week I didn’t even get to drive, so I watched these vids and they really helped!!!! But GL on ur test u will pass!
Had my test today and I failed. At an intersection where cross traffick doesn't have a stop signed, I stopped and inch out a little because I couldn't see and planning to turn left didn't see the car coming to my left, the examiner intervened and immediately took me back to the DMV. My 2 critical errors where: lane violation and dangerous maneuver. I'll retake it in 2 weeks😢
My friend made me an appointment to get my DL, and she said I can learn how to drive in a month. Y’all be careful cause I’m hitting the streets🙈. Next month is my test so wish me luck😭❤️
10:05 I am glad that the examiner intervened or else that critical error would have been catastrophic. Another examiner would have the driver drive back to the examination centre knowing that the driver has pretty much failed at that point.
Have my 3rd test scheduled for July 13, I failed the first time because there was a left turn lane at an intersection with a (solid white line) and I hesitated to go into it (I didn't go into it) which caused me to fail. The second time I failed because I didn't give the right-of-way to a pedestrian whilst I was making a right-turn which costed me like 6 or 8 deduction points, and I failed the parallel parking which was 8 deduction points. There was a few other problems like not stopping before stop signs or their painted lines which made me fail my second time. The TIPS I could give is to try to calm down and stay out of your head because when your in your head you don't notice things.!!! Thank you for your educational videos (Road Test Success) and sorry for the paragraph!

I dont understand why the instructor bothered continuing the test after 10:02 . I failed my test just for driving in the bike lane a little too long after a right turn
I've heard that after an immediate fail issue that are supposed to take the student back to dmv because at that point it's deemed an unsafe driver. Tbh it's also a waste of time to continue, lots of people are testing each day

I’m taking my test somewhere in August and I wanna know more about bike lanes. When do you start going to the bike lane? Anyways, I’m leaving my comment here so I can get good luck 🍀
I believe a 100 ft before the turn. I've seen plenty of California behind the wheel test. Even though here in Michigan bike lane isn't part of the behind the wheel.
I can finally watch these without being stressed out

@@ppqq2785 Thanks! There were a few where I didn't fully stop at stop signs but was a rolling one, went slightly over the limit line, and my speed was a bit slow (going 35 in a 40 for example). Good luck.

You got this!
Yes, I prayed to God before my exam and it really helped me calm my nerves. I wish you the best, you can do it!
@uniqua2621 Yes, thank you! I prayed to God before my test, and I'm grateful to say I passed! Praise God 🙏
@@shakeetagarrett796 100 feet before or after?

@@shakeetagarrett796 oh wait I just realized you said before for the first comment, my fault I’m blind 😂
The exhaust system on that car sounds like it has a cracked pipe because it sounds pretty loud
