I know this is an old video but I just did my first blind playthrough of the game and found out something interesting: you can actually get a nargacuga egg prior to beating the story nargacuga. The area where you fight the story nargacuga can be explored before the nargacuga story sequence is initiated. If you go to its lair you can loot the one nargacuga egg and leave, then when you come back and beat the story nargacuga - the egg will no longer be there as you've already taken it. Just something I found interesting during my playthrough, not sure if it's possible with all of the story bosses :) Thanks for the video :)

Thia game is amazing. Having Stories 1 remaster on switch reignited my love for this series. Stories 2 is one of the few game sequels where I felt it improved on everything from the first game. I loooooove Stories 1 but Stories 2 did such a good job of continuing the series with the QoL updates youd exoect going from 3DS to Switch, while staying true to the story and atmosphere of the series.
Played through the story 3 times wirh crazy early builds and this helped a lot Got rathian and zinogre early and literally destroyed everything on my way lol
Same but I personally like stories 1 not as much as stories 2 the reason for that is because I really like the concept they went with the first game and apply it to the second game with a bigger roster of monsters and add more weapons 😁
That Royal Gammoth is low key a super easy get. The fight itself seems incredibly daunting but she only ever uses Power attacks, and the stomp while having massive HP. So just use Speed over and over and then use your Ride to tank her stomp. Better to do solo than partnered up. Getting her to retreat is the true issue after the absolute slog that is fighting her.
I would like to note that 8 star online quest like the rathalos quest have the same loot pools as rare ticket dens so you can get bottle caps and potential super rare tickets by just doing 8 star online quest so you can get tickets without wasting any i would also like to note that if you save before going in an expedition and quit out while in the expedition you have a failsafe if the monster at the end kicks your ass you can just close the game and get your ticket back but make sure to save or this wont work
You can get brute tigerex at hokolo island at spire rock everden I got it on my frisk try after I got my flying rathalos flying need if going for it and that’s it if you want one
Speaking of Pokémon after I played Legends Arceus do you think that Pokémon were hunted the same as in Monster Hunter before Pokeballs and the events of PLA, cause this game gives me PLA vibes kinda
If you are cringe then you can get anjanath in the beta by killing the yian kut ku and waiting in its den, then back attack it or don’t and make it retreat to get a egg but remember, this could corrupt your file but it did not corrupt mine

You can, I can go in there with a rare ticket for a 50/50 chance for a random elder egg if I want an elder dragon however they will just have their base genes nothing special but it’s a pretty good way to pull them
If you defeat the Royal pirates in the region of akala you have and you get the chance to get its egg can also get a Toby gadachi egg as well as a barrel of egg before the rapping boss fight in fact even before loska as long as you grind enough cuz holy damn those things were so hard
