I couldn't accept that the child's blue eye didn't serve any real benefit for her, she has that special physical feature but it means nothing especially when she does not make a good Queen in future and her Aunty's character seems to dominate this movie. These themes are confusing but the aethetic set up was good.
I must say this is the first drama of over 3 hours that I did not check comments before watching and up until 1H30M, I am enjoying it as the storyline seems worthy to continue 😂😂😂
This is a great story but sad cause all three sisters of Dugu died in despair after send their husbands into the throne and high nobility... Even the most loving pair end up separated by power and ambition
Hu knew when he had that meeting with his daughter that his fate was sealed. Did he have it coming? He was surrounded by ambitious wolves anyway. And you could tell Yuwen Hu was ready to go. I felt sorry for him because of his prior grieving of Bore tore at your heart strings.
I love Celine Dion. To hear this sweet, cute and awesome three year old singing one of my favourite song by Celine, brings tears, joy and nostalgic feelings. So wonderful to see this video. Confused with the storyline. They didn't want the emperor to know he was cuckolded cos the child had blue eyes, so the aunt said she will raise the child instead. After that the emperor suddenly wanted to adopt the child randomly. After that a random lady tried to incite a fight between empress and emperor by telling her the child is the emperor's?! Did i get the story wrong. I think too many scenes were cut ✂️ ✂️
its a different emperor. the girl's mother was the empress married to an emperor but both died and a new emperor took over the throne. the new emperor is the one that wants to marry his son to the girl

Eu assisti 2 doramas sobre DUGU e chorei muito por ela, ela realmente existiu, quando ela casa com ele com a promessa de não ter concubinas e ele a aceita porque os dois se amam. Ela teve 10 filhos, ela o ajudou muito com as tramas palacianas, ela enviava eunucos para saber sobre as politicas, reuniões e após fazia o papel de conciliadora com seu marido. Ela era esperta e tinha um senso de justiça imensa. Só que ele a traiu, ele abandonou o Palácio quando soube que Dugu mandou matar a escrava (era filha de um ministro que caiu em desgraça e virou serva). Dugu enviou ministros para buscá-lo e quando ele chegou ela pediu perdão a ele. Logo adoeceu e morreu. É uma história sobre aquele tempo onde as mulheres não tinham voz ativa, casavam tipo moeda de troca As mulheres eram infelizes.

The lil blue eyed kid… idk I thought mb budding romance. Then i thought “ok so step dad comes Temp boss man while immature prince grows up, boom fortune teller is right but the daughter & prince becomes ultimate boss and pass away an everyone gets a happy ending. Instead it seemed focus on the kid then just switched up on the main character energy. All the way to the end I was thinking “ok how’s rhis tie back to our blue eyes main character. I mean the kids eyes Suddenly go blue but it does nothing.. the kid comes a NPC character in a side quest vibe. I liked it but feels like that def should have been 2 different movies that some weird “no women” men (you know the basement dwellers w an extension corn collect and don’t get any but claim it’s “by choice” yeah more like no ones choosing there 30+ virgin hairy ass. But even tho I said that. I did really like it(in my defense a lot of movie editors, perves, and game creators well an 25% D&D players actually fit that description
