I almost expected to see pterodactyls come swooping down out of the fog and snatch you out of your paraglider. It was like you were flying through the land that time forgot.
Man I was so engulfed in your Iceland series a couple of years back. I am just as stoked to see another. Thank you so much Tucker. I've been to Iceland and I am in awe of the views you are able to get of this amazing landscape.
Wow... I think I know where I'm going to go for a vacation at some point... that's some beautiful country! Tucker, you never cease to deliver the best content on the Tube. Thank you so much for doing what you do!

Drinking coffee and getting high is my favorit, iv put comments on vídeos for other shit saying go check out drinking coffee and getting high lol. I love my first cup and its just a genuine vídeo showing "an average guy" go do sómething amazing and be back for lunch
Perhaps Tucker can back me up on this one. It always amazes me how so many TH-cam commenters assume international travel is too expensive or impossible. Iceland is one of the cheapest destinations to reach by flight. As of matter of fact, when WOW Air was in service, I flew directly to Reykjavik out of CLEVELAND, OHIO for $270 round-trip. Since these budget airlines have forced the price of overseas travel down to an all-time low, I’ve been able to visit various parts of Europe TWICE in one year and 4 times since 2016. In my neck of the woods here in Ohio, I think we have a few cultural deterrents that hinder overseas travel. The first issue is that everyone appears to think traveling to Europe is prohibitively expensive as it was three decades ago. There also seems to be an irrational fear of safety abroad, even in sparsely-populated industrialized nations like Iceland. Perhaps the biggest issue of all is that the general population is unfamiliar with geography and nobody knows what’s beyond our borders. Doesn’t it get boring to visit the same beach in Myrtle Beach or Florida every single year?
I agree with the sentiment, but not the particulars. I've been to about 50 countries. Of those 50, Iceland was far and away among the most expensive. The flight ticket was certainly cheap, relative to other transatlantic fares, but day-to-day living is not. I think I spent less exploring London than I did in Reykjavik. Heck--I hitchhiked around the Ring Road, and I struggled to keep a straight budget eating gas station food and camping. But I was only 20 at the time. I wouldn't mind going back to Iceland--it is a genuinely beautiful place--but I think I'll save the trip for a time when I've a bit more money. In the meantime, there are plenty of cheap flights across Latin America.
I also agree with the sentiment but Iceland is on of the single most expensive places for holidays in the whole bloody world. Your statement regarding Iceland was so incredibly wrong it's staggering..
I disagree with both assessments here on the cost of Iceland. I’m from the Toronto area and made a honeymoon trip there with my wife in 2018. It’s what you make of it. We found cheap Airbnb accommodations and a number of low-cost bus tours, including Golden Circle. At the end of the day, cheap airfare taken into account, we spent less than $1.100 on the entire trip. I reckon the folks above me are used to being pampered and worshipped in the likes of Thailand and Jamaica for a mere loonie.
@@melanderhart8452 you'll always find some cheap deals. However, and this is backed up by concrete facts. The cost of living in Iceland is crazy. It's even more expensive than Switzerland, which let me tell you is insanely pricey. Once again I am not saying you can't find some good deals, there's always a way to get cheap holidays. But saying Iceland is a cheap holiday destination because of cheap flights is ludicrous. Which is what the original comment stated.
Oliver Roberts I’ll defend OP on this point as well. Two round trip tickets to Southeast Asia would have cost more than our entire trip to Iceland in airfare alone despite the low cost of living. Flights to the Caribbean at the time would’ve also easily put us over budget at that time, even if we could find cheap accommodation. It certainly was a factor for us but nonetheless enjoyed our time in Iceland.
WOW! Absolutely Awesome!! Tucker, I think you're the kind of guy that would feel so humbled that Scout would do this for you... Well deserving man... Thanks as always for taking me along with you.. 👍👍👍
Totally cool Tucker. Of all the parameter vid on TH-cam you have the best cinematic footage, hands down. Love my parafoil shirt. Don't stop. Stood at the spot you launched from the bridge in Twin Falls this summer. Always a fan.
Iceland is absolutely beautiful! What an unforgettable trip! Keep up the soloid material Tucker! Yoir making me want to get a paramotor now hahahah! Stay frosty stay risky! Cheers!
You flying through the canyons is the best video I have ever seen on TH-cam. Iceland is so beautiful! I’ve been fortunate to have been twice, but never close to how you did it in this video. Thanks so much for sharing!
So beautiful. Many of us will never be able to go to these places. Still we yearn for and love them just the same. Huge Thanks for taking us along! Be careful up there and have fun!
Some of the most ridiculous footage I've seen so far on this channel! The views on Iceland are completely spell-bounding and no words can do them justice! I think this video will single handedly convert more people to wanting to PM than any other video out there. Thankyou Tucker and congratulations on the experience!
I would have to say that the first canyon you flew in, the narrow one, was the best! The rock formations were just out of this world amazing! The sharp angles, the pillars, tunnels, and contrasting green, grey, black, and white water, made it look like another planet all together. The close quarters even made me nervous just watching! The larger canyons although epic in their own, was not as intimate and intimidating as the first. Great VLog Tucker, I am SOOOOO jealous of your adventure, and wish I could be there instead of just watching. Stay safe and I hope you have lot of fun! Cheers from Winnipeg.
Oshkosh, What !!!. Never, Tucker would not miss this for anything. Was watching on my phone and stopped at 3:44 to continue on my Big screen. Risky Biscuits or not... Fly safe and bring it on, waiting for the next episode of Tucker Gott flies Iceland.
Man, ive been so depressed lately with zero aspirations, goals or dreams, seeing your vids has dragged my arse out of that self pity and almost turned me a new leaf to which I am truelly greatful. This time next year I will be flying a paramotor finger crossed. Again huge thanks.
Best Idea ever! Iceland is my future destination and you just gave me an idea of what I plan on doing there. The view doesn't get any better than that!!!
I'm remembering that the glaciers was one of your most memorable but dude your adding even more to it now. Unbelievable terrain heads up be careful guys. Like your new merch !
Man! You really had me puckered up there a few times. Close and looked dangerous going into the canyons, but probably your 360 camera? Fantastical beauty and wonder if anyone has ever been back in there before. Loved it. You've really svoooGott some great film that it seems to me Iceland would love to have. Really loved it! Thanks for sharing.

Ha, ha! That was so cool! You can see why Tolkein was inspired. The glacial "black stuff" is called lateral moraines btw. Looking forward to the next flight!

The deposits of black stuff is exactly just that, the rock there is mainly black and gets ground down to almost powder from the glaciers immense weight and movement, over time the glacier melts and grows and in doing so deposits the black sand :) such a lovely place! excellent video dude.
The views are epic. Thank you for allowing us to come along thru your eyes the wonders of Iceland. A very lush green island. You all are there at the best time. i understand that it starts snowing in September there. On a more somber note will you be making a video on the paramotor gliding accident that took the life of Grant Thompson. Grant was a major youtube star: King of Random.

I clicked like within 5 seconds of this video! Unbelievable work!!! Thanks for doing this. I know there are a fair amount of sci fi shows being filmed in Iceland these days and you can see why. Hopefully one of them discovered the area you shot in and took advantage of the other-worldly atmosphere. Amazing!!
My wife and I left the morning that you arrived. What a beautiful place to fly. Maybe I'll be flying there soon. Would love to fly over or beside the glacier. Awesome video.
So many people waiting for a new video you did not disappoint, gorgeous views thanks for taking us with you!
