Considering that Wolverine's skeleton is made of Adamantium, and Magneto is an omega level mutant who controls metal, I'm surprised that incidents like this don't happen more often in the comics.
Not a good idea because without adamantiun wolverine is more savage, animalistic and beserk.. on top of that magneto cant fight against him because there's no metal in his body to control
Wolverine became stronger faster and more feral without the adamantiun. (It weights alot) his healing factor was also significantly stronger because it wasn't having to keep him healthy from the metal poisoning. So magneto not doing it again makes sense
His skeleton is not actually made of adamantium. His skeleton is a normal human skeleton plus his mutation of bone claws. His skeleton and claws are covered and bonded with Adamantium. Unless Marvel changed that story again.......
I still have my Fatal Attraction '95 Fleer Ultra Foil Card in mint condition. Had it since 5th grade. I consider this to be one of the gnarliest things that Magneto has done
I was a teenager in the early 90s and remember when JIM LEE WAS THE PENCILER FOR MARVEL! SHOUT out to Scott Williams as BEST INKER By Jim Lee's side while working on XMEN
I had Fatal Attractions when I was in 3rd grade. I remember reading it, with my mouth wide open. It was painful to look at the panel with the metal being leeched from his bones, and I still shudder to this day.
I feel like proper planning of the mission would have had at least one person raise their hand and say, “Um, Magneto controls metal. Shouldn’t Wolverine sit this one out?”
I was born in 91, & I don't recall people being that sensitive. Especially considering this is the '90s where we had grittier comics than this. Spawn, Witchblade, Lady Death, Judge Dread, The Darkness, and so many more just name a few. Then again this is probably the same people that didn't like Jason Todd Robin.
This was the first issue of X-Men I ever read when it first came out (well, actually the SECOND after X-Men #303 which was the death of Illyana Rasputin, and must have been the most heart-wrenching story I had ever read in comics), and it was what started me reading the books for many years (until the prices became ridiculous and the 'stories' and 'artistry' became sh*t).
Part of the charm of this channel is that even if the narrator is seemingly English First Language Ameribro as fuck, sometimes they'll glitch out into the wildest mispronunciations. It's something I've picked up on over the past couple months. Marvelous employs the drunkest A.I. voices
His claws were not originally aluminum spikes!!! Geeeeezus H Christ, who does yall's research???!!! They were originally bone claws as scene in the movies Xmen Origins Wolverine, and Xmen Days of future past. Also, in Wolverine volume 2, issue 75 comic. Wolverine unknowingly and unintentionally pops out his. And the key word is.............. [BONE] claws in the Danger Room. And then basically states to Jubilee, later on in the same comic. That he always thought his Adamantium claws were implants, basically due to him remembering practically nothing. Before the Weapon X program, and not Weapon + program Genius!!! Did their adamantium procedure and memory wipe on him.
@@Mrikeepgettinmoneyagain it seems a bit condescending to assume he can't learn correct pronunciation because of a language barrier though, especially not if it's the names of characters he is trying to educate us on.
@@Mrikeepgettinmoneyagain If you're going to do a video on an Xmen storyline at least get the pronunciation of the names correct, whether his 1st language is English is neither here nor there, also he doesn't even go into the details of the storyline, it's a pretty weak video if you've actually read the story, the mispronunciation underline that issue. The post credit scene doesn’t mean much. Just because Logan lost his Adamantium claws doesn’t mean the rest of his body can’t be controlled by Magneto.
Wolverine's adamantium was restored as part of the marking of the 25th anniversary of Wolverine's introduction in the Incredible Hulk in 1974. I remember this happening and buying the issues.
I started collecting comics right after they pulled wolverines adamantium out and literally kept collecting just so i could see them come up with the story to put it back in again.
I was a kid in the 90s who grew up watching the animated series and collected the ultra fleer x-men cards and comics and I remember this comic as one of the most awesome comics
I was thinking about the upcoming Marvel movies and how Hugh Jackman probably just played his last Wolverine role in the last Deadpool movie. I was wondering if Marvel might incorporate this evolution of Wolverine into their plot so they don't have to find a replacement for Jackman.
Funny thing is I still got the book. The one that has wolverine lossing his adamantinum. and the aftermath of it all. Both books has a little 3d comic card them. I was going to sell it . But it’s so badly damage because of my finger sweat. I’ll change my mind.
Not going to lie, OG X-Force issue 25 is one of my favourite comics of all time. Magneto just rips Cable apart ,Exodus goes up against X-Force. Just a brilliant book. Now I don't want to piss off a lot of Wolverine fans but I always enjoy and find it realistic when certain characters beat the hell out of Wolverine. Magneto, Hulk etc. Wolverine should never be shown to have a chance against these characters.
Over the years many forget that this was the catalyst of Xavier mind wiping Magneto that one of the most dangerous beings in the Marvel Universe was given birth..Onslaught..who still has appeared many years later.
If they ever get the MCU back on track (stop swapping popular legacy characters for less popular versions) I'd love to see this adapted, it would be an incredible end to an epic arc. Right now I hope they stay away from it, they've already wrecked Dark Phoenix twice.
The way how Wolverine savage side was suppress by his Adamantium doesn’t make sense. Wolverine was suffering from Adamantium poisoning, his healing factor was keeping him alive. A wounded animal is more dangerous, not a suppressed animal. The fact that he doesn’t have Adamantium and shouldn’t be suffering from Adamantium poisoning, should make wolverine more comfortable and calmer not more savage
Love the video, I just have this 1 gripe I need to get off my chest. I learned growing up there’s no such thing as language pronunciation of names. My name is my name, and I would like to always be addressed in my pronunciation when addressing me. For example the name of this channel is not “Videos Maravilloso” it’s Marvelous Videos. His name is Magneto (mag-nee-toe) not magnet-o. Just like Thanos is pronounced tha-nos not thay-nus. It’s small details like that, that just tick me off. I’ve never seen any piece of media that his name is pronounced Magnet-o 😅😊 or like Xavier, the X is obviously supposed to be pronounced lol. COAL-OSIUS??? You can’t be serious.
The voice of the narrator should do so many of your videos in the future. He has a curious accent and is a joy to listen to. He reminds me of the host of the show connections from a couple decades back...
I like Wolverine bone claws 🦴 more than his metal claws more natural but I think people would like to see vibranium claws but how does wolverine get the vibranium from the Wanda tribe?
you completely neglected the only and main issue with the movies vs the comics.... in the movies he is poisoned by adamantium and it is what is killing him, and in the comics the adamantium was what was helping him control his powers. so when you are talking about him, the least you can do is separate the comics and movies from each other as they have nothing at all to do with each other and are in most ways opposite. so telling anything about wolverine while quoting both sources will always be wrong. pick one and go with it either comics which are what people love or the movies that are a story all to themselves and have nothing to do with the comics.
MagNEToh...coLOUsis...wtf. Are any of you on this channel actually fans? The amount of essential, incredibly popular names this channel seems unable to pronounce is rather unbelievable...

My rite aid shut down a while ago
Then Kmart, local market and the mall
My hometown works for Amazon now
Back in the days when you could find comic books and arcade games, like, anywhere...
As a kid I thought it was terrifying. Now I think about how powerful Magneto is to be able to do this. Even The Hulk couldn't bust the metal.
I remember when it first happened in the comic. It was the talk of the school yard.
