Nice list! It makes sense that Orfist wants to rush early, but I've found a lot of success with going for the late game. So my list is slightly more tanky with Culjameed, and running 6 draws for more sustain. I think I'll steal this list tho, and try it at locals soon!
Yeah I've seen a few builds that are more late-game oriented with Culjameeds for improved defense! Each version of the deck definitely has its pros and cons, and it's really dependent on the player's preferences and playstyle too. I hope you have fun with the list! 😄
YES!!!! First thing I did with the DLC was craft 4 foil SP Nuvoreas 😍 For anyone who hasn't tried out the deck yet, I highly recommend trying it out on Dear Days to see if you like it!
Wish i could have bin there but unfortunately my worlds planning went down the drain… glad my favorite deck topped. Played 1 BCS and won the thing but the travels got screwed 😅 Props to you bro 👌💪
Congrats! Not needing to really play test demonstrates your overall knowledge in playing vanguard. You honestly can only afford to proc 1 rusher a turn. Cubisia 15k is based. It is really good!
Orfist might be one of the most consistent budget deck for now. Early rush with Eclipse, carp ton of order searchers, consistent 3-5 attacks (depending on what you play) & you might not even need combine rusher (again, depends on what kinds of play you're going). I might just trade either Youthberk or Bastion for Orfist. & I have enough experience with Orfist thanks to Dear Days
Just out of curiosity did many people damage deny your turn 1 so that you wouldn't have the cb for moonlight to call a token? Also thanks for making this video, I've wanted to build orifist regis for the longest time, but that $20+ price tag kept me away since it was a little much for a "fun" deck. I didn't get regis back when the set first came out thinking the price would either go down or stay the same and I could just get it later. I've been staring at the $20+ price tag and regretting it for the longest time. However after seeing that you topped at worlds it convinced me that he is worth it and after playing it I don't regret it at all and wished I had bit the bullet earlier.
Yes, a few people did try to damage deny me actually! Unfortunately, the whole tourney, I went second (except for round 1), which made it way easier for people to damage deny me since I'd have a rearguard to attack. However, that's where Hollowing Moonlit Night comes in handy, so you can still draw a card and give a G1 a buff for one soulblast! And I'm glad that you were able to eventually try out Orfist 😄 he's a TON of fun and definitely underrated, so it's super exciting to see him get more love ❤️
This is very close to my list. But this deck is far from budget when Regis hasn't been under $20 since it was released. Fully built Gravidia is cheaper than "budget" Orfist.
Fair point, I hadn't thought of using Gravidia as a baseline for what a budget deck could look like, and I agree that Gravidia would likely be considered more budget in this case (idk if they run 4 Combine Rushers or not, I'm not experienced with the deck). I had originally titled this with "budget" because it was a budget approach towards specifically building Orfist, since I skipped out on running 4 Combine Rushers. I do recognize that it may come off as a bit misleading to leave "budget" in the title in light of this info, especially since "budget" is a super subjective term in the first place for most people. So I've adjusted the title to help prevent any other concerns with it. Thanks for pointing that out! :)
Well it all depends on what you count as budget! For the title, the "budget" aspect was referring to the fact that it's a budget version of *Orfist* specifically, since there wasn't a playset of Combine Rushers (which would've cost me an extra $90~ to complete the playset since I live in Canada 💀) However, I do recognize that Orfist Regis is now in the $20~ price range due to his lack of availability (which is a shame, I wish more people bought his set 💔). Even so, in terms of Orfist-specific pieces, he's the only "pricy" card in the deck, with all of his support cards being less than a buck or two each! The fact that he doesn't have pricy promo cards like Eva or Overlord, or $50 key pieces like Youthberk, makes him feel more in the "budget" zone for me. The idea of a deck being "budget" is relative though, so I totally understand if Orfist doesn't fit that category for some players!
@TELECHUBBIE I hope so too! But if you happen to have Dear Days, you can try out the deck on there too, since all the cards are available for this deck now 😄
From one orfist player to another I'm proud of you brother💯
Glad to see so much Orfist solidarity in the comments 🤝
Orfist has been my favorite standard deck since set one so I always love seeing a fellow Orfist player top. Congrats on the top and nice deck list.
Thank you! Glad to see more Orfist lovers in the comments 🤝
Freaking loved your list ma dude and Congrats on the Orfist win!!
so hyped for the orfist deckset coming to global in november!
"And the best part is that I didn't even need to dump money on a playset of Combine Rushers 💸"
Like a true champ and savior for budget players.
Had to show some inspo for other players who are tryna save money 🙏
the decklist is awesome, but you sir, are very entertaining and a genius, hope to see more of your content.
Thank you!!!! Currently brainstorming some new potential video ideas, so we'll see how that turns out 🤭

Prisons used to be my main deck but orfist may be winning my heart over soon 😍

and as of the update to Dear Days, this list is usable in Dear Days (it recently got set 6)

I'll make sure to meet you at worlds next year then 😜
This was a fun video
I'm hoping that everyone enjoyed the Orfist Minecraft visuals as much as I did LMAO

pls keep making more vanguard content! You're awesome!
Awe thank you 😄 It was my first time making a TCG Deck Profile like this, so I'm really glad people are enjoying it!!!
You're just better 😤
I let the orfist gods take the wheel 🙏

Dear Days is great for testing our Orfist, now that Nuvorea is usable on there! Glad more people are seeing the appeal of Orfist 🥳
Forgot to mention how that free water affected your gameplay but overall great vid and deck guide #BCfreewatergang
#BCfreewatergang represent 💪💪💪
Please do an update with orfist masques!

Orfist being the only card needed in the deck that more then $10 its still considered budget freindly.
wait so if i call 3 tokens off orfist i get 15k?
If you have 6 or 7 World orders, yes! Has to be directly from Orfist's ability, since he basically just counts your world orders then acts accordingly
its not counting the tokens you summon but how many orders in the order zone
I’m not paying for the DLC in Dear Days, so I don’t need combine rusher (cope)
...Orfist is budget? 😅

@@pxtrickj Ooooooh. Now I get it! Let's hope a reprint of Regis ever comes out. That way I'll give this more aggressive version a shot!
@TELECHUBBIE I hope so too! But if you happen to have Dear Days, you can try out the deck on there too, since all the cards are available for this deck now 😄
@@TELECHUBBIE being the only card over $10 in the deck if you dont play combine. its relitively budget friendly.
Wtf is this game? Wtf are those cards?... Lol
