Bishop Rance Allen (November 19, 1948 - October 31, 2020), was an American Bishop, Minister, and gospel musician, and the founder and leader of the famed Rance Allen Group. Known for his extremely wide vocal range and powerful singing voice, Allen became known as the main lead vocalist and the leader of the influential group.
He was the senior pastor of the New Bethel Church Of God In Christ in Toledo, Ohio, since its July 1985 establishment. In November 2011, Rance Allen was elevated to the office of Bishop in the Church of God in Christ, for the Michigan Northwestern Harvest Jurisdiction. Allen was born in 1948 in Monroe, Michigan to Thomas and Emma Pearl Allen. He had 11 siblings: six sisters and five brothers. Allen founded the Rance Allen Group in Detroit in 1969 joined by his brothers Thomas and Steve. Allen was married to First Lady Ellen Marie Allen (née Groves). The two were married on December 1, 1970. The couple had no children together.
Allen and his group had performed with many gospel musicians throughout the country, including Andrae Crouch, Marvin Winans, Bebe and Cece Winans, the Clark Sisters, Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Tye Tribbett, Shirley Caesar, and Donnie McClurkin. He also performed for President Barack Obama at a White House Celebration of Gospel Music and was nominated for five Grammy Awards.
Allen died on October 31, 2020 from complications due to a recent medical procedure.

I love him and think of him. He is missed. Yes, the ship stopped for him and he's at peace.
I can't even listen to that song without crying. Thinking about my family that's gone and especially my mom and dad. One day the ship will stop for me too and I'll be there with my loved ones.

This reminded me of my grandfather's funeral my grandmother had that same reaction. That's when it hit her she stumbled back and it really broke me down.

I honestly can’t say “Gone too soon” although HE WILL be missed the lord blessed Rance with a full life and he lived that full life in GREAT service to GOD and it was his time to go. R.I.P. Rance ❤️
You know to others he went too soon and age has nothing to do with it especially when it was a person of his character and we had many younger people dying and didn't have a character like he did and because of their bad decisions and actions landed them in an early grave
Plus regardless of your age your life you lived and how you treated people and loved people speaks for you when you

Although it was very risky and dangerous to have that many elderly people in his funeral and I'm sure they have underlying health conditions as well I pray they don't spread Covid19 and prove to be deadly to someone

I watch him sing with Twinkie Clark "Trust in Him", my Lord his presence and the joy in this song and video. I love him, such a gentleman. He loved his family, his career, and the singing. I just found out by accident, he died suddenly.

The director's job is to comfort and help you get it out while you're there. They saw that she was ready, but stuck for a minute so they helped her to her seat. If she needed time they would have accommodated. She was good though so they did their jobs well. You're fine. You just didn't understand.

He told His disciples, “I go to prepare a place for you” and reminded them that there would be plenty of room in His Father’s house for all who trusted Him (John 14 : 2 nkjv).
We love to have a nice home in this life-a special place for our family to eat, sleep, and enjoy each other’s company. But think of how amazing it will be when we step into the next life and discover that Father God has taken care of our eternal accommodations. Praise God for giving us life “to the full” (John 10 : 10), including His presence with us now and our presence with Him later in the place He is preparing for us (14 : 3).
Thinking of what God has in store for those who trust Jesus can challenge us to introduce others to Him. Start your life RIGHT NOW with the very One whom created you out of pure love by first understanding that you are a sinner in need of our Savior.

A full Couch neans when the casket is fully opened and you can see the body from head to toe.
The casket looked liked a pure gold casket because I went to a man's funeral who was a well known pastor and he had one too

They don’t do anything professional in the world so they have to have their annual fashion show when they come to church. They probably was hiding how many people were actually there because of Covid19 because there was way too many people packed in that funeral and they were not 6 ft. Social distance and the funeral home a b d church can get in big trouble with those many people

Dang.. he died from complications after his back surgery. I remember when I was a little girl growing up in Detroit there was this even called “The King of Kong’s every year. He used to come with his group. What stood out to me when I was a child was the fact that he was so huge. But I LOVED his voice even as a young child. Now I’m seeing his wife. And seeing how big she is. Maybe it’s health related.. since he has always been huge, but being overweight is unhealthy. This makes me think of so many childhood memories because my mother LOVED him. She is a Christian. The govt listing all the people dying from Covid but don’t list the number of deaths from medical malpractice. I don’t trust doctors. They said the country over populated and they killing off older people..
