I can see why it would be easy to get in a bad place mentally, but kudos to Brad for keeping his emotions in check. Still so many opportunities for PBA tour titles. Brad is gonna win one soon. Praying for you, Brad. ❤
Your mental game is strong and is being made apparent, so hats off to Brad! Side note I would also like to give a shout out to Momma Via, because how awesome is it that she just bakes lord knows how many cookies she makes for the guys on tour and she does it out of nothing but her kind heart. Keep being awesome Mrs. VIA!
Brad looked like he handled himself well. I wish I was at -23 at the end of a sport pattern tournament block. Seem like he stayed present and gut it out with what he had in his arsenal. I mean what else are you going to do? Good job on the vlog. Thanks for sharing your journey!
Really liked the opening discussion of the patterns and how the players moving affected it. 8:30: And looking at the scoring standing sheet, the two handed guy, Tomas Kayhko, did make hay when things were good early and he needed it because he finished 133 197 and 172.
You have done amazing in keeping it together seeing how tough the lane conditions were. Inspiring! And you stay and remain humble which is why you're the GOAT! Love seeing Kyle and Brad in action. Keep grinding!
I’ll watch all day. From what I analyzed several shots were thrown well but when everyone started lofting looked like the higher rev rate players were getting the action they needed. There were several shots I saw that Brad threw the same ball as other people but just needed that extra snap in as it started to make its way into the pocket.
Enjoying your posts.Making 10 pins has been a lot better since watching.I know how your were feeling.Started a game with 4 in a row ,then had 2 straight 7-10 splits for my only misses of the night.Stay positive.
Back in 2012 at the Open Championships in Baton Rouge, LA, we rented the lane at the entrance to have them show us how to play the pattern, and they said the same thing, don't go where the strikes are early, carve it out right and make your spares. Well, nobody on the pair did that, and by the beginning of game 2, the ball was hooking into the 7 pin, lol.
As you fellas bowl on Tour when its gets Hard you say to yourself what would Daniel Puerto says in this moment and think of his mannerisms and Keep it light!! #whatwouldpuertoadvise!!!
Hi Brad & Kyle! Thank you for doing these videos with the behind the scenes look! One question I have, when you have these long format tournaments, Do you consider one of the Squad schedules better than others? If so, can you rank for this tournament, which is most to less desirable? You can also tell that has the block goes on, it gets hard and more draining because the shirts become less and less tucked in on just about everyone, specially Brad’s! BTW, love Kevin’s music in these videos! Ken
The middle finger pattern gets spotty. Everyone playing deep and oil starts getting dragged towards the outer area down lane. In the later games, a lot of over under or as Randy would say " A high Light Reel".
Utterly dig the content guys. You can see Brad wants to just go mental but kept it in check. They look just butt ugly nasty on the lanes. When nobody is averaging 220 you know they are tough. Remember you are Brad F'N Miller. Keep grinding guys.
This video was absolutely some heat! the music was on point, and Brad breaking down his struggles that he was facing and staying in a good headspace about it was clutch as well.
Man this was a tough one to watch. I bowled out there in the 90's and 2000's off and on. Made a couple checks, but not much success for me, and my experience was a lot like this many times. It's hard. But you're much better than that, and there will be others. =)
Hey Brad and Kyle, I have a question: When lane conditions get like this, why not just go old school and grab a plastic ball and pitch it in straight off the corner? The carry might not be wonderful, but at least you're leaving singles pin spares instead of splits. Should be able to produce low 200 scores when that's all you need....
Maybe do a ball video with two of the same balls drilled with one pin up vs one pin down on a fresh conditions and see if you can tell us the differences then. Maybe as a blind comparison where you have to guess which is which
Honest question, is there a reason that no one tried to either flatten their hand or change their release to more up the back of the ball to help combat some of the extra hook from the lane conditions? It seems like everyone stayed with their normal release and kept moving left. My only thought on why they wouldn't change their release would be something with how the pattern was breaking down. Glad to see you stay mentally strong Brad. I coach a high school bowling team and that's one of the main things I stress with them.
Keep grinding Brad. You struggled some, and when you made good shots you got a lot of bad carries. Every bowler on this planet, and probabably every golfer too, can tell you that some days you just have to nod and move on when this happens. You are a great bowler and there will be other days when it all comes together for you. You got this!!
As a bit of a contrarian. When everyone is migrating so far left and working that hard to strike...wouldn't this be the time to try and Norm Duke it and pipe something straight down the right side? May be showing my ignorance here. Keep rolling Brad!
@@TheInsaneShecklador Thanks! But it’s more of a curiosity of how he finds music to add to a video, my videos get flagged for 10 seconds of a juke box playing in the background at the local lanes, barely audible behind all the commotion of the bowlers, lol. I need to get my guitar playing buddies to make me some original tracks for my videos, a soundtrack just makes a video so much more interesting. 👍
@@Popsplace42 Having friends willing to let you use their music is probably the best answer but there is also a lot of free music available for YT. You will often see it listed in peoples video descriptions.
HELP someone! I need advice on the viper. It’s kicking my ass. I have a BW2.0 Scorpion hybrid Ocean vibe Purple hammer Super weak layout purple reactive Hammer raw I am a very high rev player that isn’t good at taking my hand out early I had great success on junior gold 35ft. But it’s playing way different. My purp hammer is hooking to early
Why don't you play where others avoiding? When the lanes get difficult and rather unpredictable, I change tactics and play extreme outside with either urethane or even a plastic white dot. I have had a good bit of success taking the guessing game out of play. You may leave some corner pins occasionally, but the scores will stay consistent (no more 170's or worse which absolutely wreck your scores). If you can be consistent with your execution staying in the pocket and your spare game, you can score. Sometimes the "old dog" has a nugget of wisdom (PBA bowlers of the past~~> style and approach). Just a thought that may help. Thinking outside the box. Good luck!
It just feels really odd to see a bunch of pros in the same alley bowling in what might just be the hardest tournament of the year, and you see that they left the house balls out. With these oil patterns I could see someone going on tilt and getting desperate enough to actually use one...
I can see why it would be easy to get in a bad place mentally, but kudos to Brad for keeping his emotions in check. Still so many opportunities for PBA tour titles. Brad is gonna win one soon. Praying for you, Brad. ❤
More content of you talking strategy and talking to ball reps. Very informative and I think that's what a lot of us wanna see.
I too enjoyed the plan discussion.
this
Yep, this is true
If Kyle can win a title, so can Brad. It's not how you start, it's how you finish. Never give up
I mean I wouldn’t say that because Kyle is the better bowler but Brad definitely can win a title

Most relatable part was seeing Brad say he just needs a 300 and then the next shot shown was a split.
You have done amazing in keeping it together seeing how tough the lane conditions were. Inspiring! And you stay and remain humble which is why you're the GOAT! Love seeing Kyle and Brad in action. Keep grinding!

Steve is such a goat, he coaches a some guys on my high school team and every time they show major improvement
Let’s gooooo Brad and Kevin killing this jams
Brad and Kyle you both seem to be great people and you both are great bowlers and will win several titles
Wish you the best of luck Brad! Keep it going !
Good to see Steve in the video. Great coach, and PSO!
7:29 I think that old philosophy like stoism would be very beneficial for bowlers. I’m not kidding!
12:10 why'd you have to do Brad dirty like that?? 🤣 He's trying to hype himself back up then you immediately cut to him throwing at the Greek church
7:37 thanks for the tip Kyle, i'm one of an impatient person. that will definitely helps
love these behind the scenes look at pro bowling tournaments
6:00 was a good shot.. keep the ball really forward hook early and set up to roll to the pocket.
Don’t give up brad u got this man💯💯 THIS IS WAT U TRAIN FOR🖤🖤🔒
Your bowling videos have really helped my scores improve.

You guys try the Storm Sun-Storm ball? You should get great control with the ball.
I notice when the lanes get really warm out like this to go back right and throw straighter
This song is incredible.. bars. What song

Sounds like you have Keven's music playing! You should give him some link love or identify the song and artist in your video.
Time to focus on your own game. At a certain point, it doesn’t matter what anyone else is throwing. Do your thing man!
Damn Kev! Why you have to go so hard on these songs man?! They're all bangers!
Get it brad!!!
Love the content boys keep it up
I need to know what the song that is played thru the end of the games can’t find it
Keven Williams has his music on all platforms
keven killin it with the soundtrack
I literally just found
Out he made music. I love this song

Over here yelling “CARRY” everyshot
Music is 🔥🔥🔥
Kyle Troup has his hair done just like my wife😳🤣
Brad, can you polish a ball or resurface balls in between blocks if you wanted a different ball reaction?
Low key I need Ronnie’s arm/upper body routine cause dude is jacked! I wanna be a buff bowler as well!
Like the red shirt Brad looks good on u
-23 We are still in this.
Let's go Brad !!
Keven Williams' "Ease My Pain" seems very fitting. Sorry.
god bless you boys for leaving that 8-10 in the edit.

I need to know the name to that intro song. That was a great song.

I feel like you would leave ten pins all day on conditions like this if you flatten your shot out.
Hey Brad and Kyle, something I've wanted to know for a while. What kind of discounts do you get for being sponsored by Storm?
I would assume they don't pay since they are pro signed to the brand
great video as always. Do they re oil between each block?
Yes they do.

When do you start drinking? Jk. Great video
Love these daily vlogs. The music not so much. I’m sorry, I have to mute it. 😂
Throw the Hammer Envy Brad! 😂
Lol
Can you attach a link for the music you put in the last two days
Keep grinding
These patterns are hard AF. If yall are bowling 150s-180s I couldn't imagine what I would bowl. Kind of interested though.
Its miller time!!
Remember what we were taught as little kids...1 SHOT AT A TIME
Is that T-pain? lol
Pattern looked as brutal as that song sounded. Better music and bowling to you.
👍
That shit looks so hard. Surprised we aren’t seeing some urethane out there.

In the last vid he said it was Keven Williams, also a bowler. I can't stand the autotune music but that's just me. I'm probably too old.

What’s the purple grey ball?
Loved this video. However this song felt like the longest song of all time
