An atmosphere of mystical without going into the abyss of Hell of another composer everyone seems to allude to. It is remarkable how each of the 3 Szymanowski piano sonatas are so completely different from one another. Brilliance. . When you look and listen to the entire ouvre of Szymanowski music he was genius and a true favorite of mine.
I would like to think that Szymanowski honestly would have been so pleased with the wealth of imagination, discipline, and colors with which you performed this music! Bravo!!

None of the composers you mentioned have written anything remotely as complex or as difficult as the fugue of the final movement. You can decide for yourself whether that's a good thing, but you certainly cannot call this "meaningless" by any means
I learnt this in an hour. Memorised and performed it. But never again. Its a rubbish composition even though I performed it exactly how the composer wanted 😊

I love it. Just Mystical. Another world. Closest to Scriabin but more comprehensible. Great performance.
