@TwoCurveStuff nah we just don't bother. In both World Wars we were fully prepared and expected to be attacked. We might not have been able to win in the long run but you can be sure we would have made it expensive. Also at some point our mercenaries were so dominant that almost every army on the continent had some Swiss mercenaries. Don't confuse not wanting to fight with being afraid or not being able to.

Just to let everyone know, the swiss were always ready for war. Even tho it was the last thing they wanted, they made all possible bridges, routes and rails compromised with explosives. They made a bunker for legit every living soul within it borders and their army was civilians converted militias.
Even tho they were on brink before entering Ethiopian-Italian war, possibly demanding territory offering of Germany/Italy. They luckily were left unharmed and left peacefully until now.
