Hey Scott, what a great tut. was searching for some days, to program some par lights, and then you popped up. i noticed when i changed the numbers in the table, x and y axis my lights where spot on in the right sequence, so i have led1: x-axis .1 and y-axis .1, led2: x-axis .2 and y-axis .2, and so on. i'm a noob and just learning so i do not know if its correct, but it works. Now trying to add 2 moving heads, see how that goes (more channels: r,g,b,tilt, rotate, dim)

Really great tutorial! I was looking for one that covered DMX and also got some useful little time-savers!

this is great! thank you! It helped me to understand the replicator too!
BTW, at the beggining you said that it was not the "best" way to do it... what would it be then?

It is more efficient to not calculate all the pixels on the ramp. However, it is nice to visualize everything in one place. I still use this method, four years later, in some projects.

Very good tutorial! Although I get stuck when connecting the replictator items to the merger at 11:00. For some reason when I click the items I can't get a wire anywhere? Do you have any idea what I am doing wrong?

k solved. I placed a top out after the totop in the container... So replaced it with a chop out and connected it to the merger. Thanks for the great tutorial!

you need an out chop in the template component that is being replicated.

Nice tutorial! 10:57 how do you connect several Op to the merge, is there a shortcut I missed?

you should be able to just right click and drag to select all the OPs, then when you drag the connection from the first OP to the Merge CHOP it will automatically connect them all.
testing this a few ways it seems it doesn't matter what order you select them in or which OP you connect from, it will simply connect the top one first, then the next one second, etc.
      hope this helps!

if you have them highlighted, you click on the green part of the components, you can drag it straight to the merge.
