    This is going to be the future. It has reminded us about how computers evolved over the years and decades. We started with room-sized computers and then we got it in our pockets. Technology has been impacting our lives (socially and economically), it all depends, how we adapt to the new technology coming to us. And how prepared we are to cope with the changing technology.

    Mind reading is already being used by Big tech to determine your youtube feed, facebook feed, etc. The public must demand laws to prevent this from being done without user consent like Colorado which implemented the first mind reading laws.

      Our minds control our bodies and our bodies dilly dally on the phone with a computer always watching. It’s not mind-reading per se - just big brother watching. This is the next step, and it’s a double edged sword.

      I wouldn't call that mind reading. It's just a prediction that an algorithm makes based on data. It shows you what people with similar interests like to see. This is a whole different level.

    • @RogueElement.
      @RogueElement. 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Surely will help short term but by the time your beautiful daughter grows up (abt 15-20 yrs) we're going to be living in a proto-cyberpunk society anyways... Lol so much stuff happening and people be hating Ai😭😂 Dr. Michael Levin has debunked genetic abnormalities to be causing brain deformations i.e previously thought genetic malformations or injury can be fixed via bio-electrical pattern correction at the tissue level. They've just shown that deliberately messing with the gene responsible for proper brain development by causing mutation results in dumb progeny. Although if after deliberately causing the damaging mutation, if the brain is brute-forced to mimic the tissue voltage pattern of that of a healthy brain (by modulation of voltage gated ion channels, basically the connections between cells) the defect is then made non existent by turning-on of extensive novel mechanisms by the brain cells never before observed (this work is shown in animal models as of late 2024). His work boldly implies that the mainstream way of thinking of developmental issues in children being caused by bad mutations and them being permanent is WRONG. It's merely a deviant anatomical goal that is pursued by the tissue that has caused the developmental issues. This research also implies that the gene is the recipe book for the materials required for the construction (which is vast and limitless and can make up for a few mistakes within itself) the problem is the blueprint of the construction. This blueprint is now thought to be the bio-electrical voltage pre pattern in ALL of our cells. They have literally made salamanders with fully functional eyes in the gut, regrown frog limbs, two headed planaria and now into mice trials using only this bio-electric platform with the help of a computational Ai model ofc😂 pre trained on healthy voltage patterns of tissues which gives out specific ion channels to modulate like a literal genie to make the diseased pattern revert to normalcy! Thus using it as a means of communication to convey our goals to the scale of tissues. The cells are competent enough to micromanage all the stuff that goes into making an eye for example but if we had to identify every gene that codes for everything that makes an eye and then making tools to replicate that?!... Nahh the sun would burn out. This top down control has severely postive implications for the parent of a special child... I am a med student myself so this long message is because I know how hard it is to keep sight on the light at the end of the tunnel. But given we don't blow ourselves up, we as a species might actually crack the first steps to freedom of embodiment within this century. Keep pushing. The future is now 😊❤ my IG is "uhmm.rohann" if u want links to papers I was talking abt... That said def go thru Lex Friedmans podcast with Dr.Mike Levin! Very nice intro to his work.

"'m hungry ", "my nose itches" , "peanut butter sandwich oozing at the seams ,"," how much more time do I have," , "Pizza," "I'm cold ", etc. would appear on the screen with disturbing regularity, 80% being food-related if you've noticed LOL. More sinisterly my revenge fantasies that I would never act out in real life,could result in the police knocking on my door if my thoughts are no longer allowed to be my own.

    It’s obviously already in use by defense departments globally. The take away should be about total domination and enslavement of mankind, not how awesome and benevolent this tech is. The presenter clearly used the inference of thought decoding of an ai where the user is being decoded by the pc they are engaged with. Otherwise he would’ve had to state the obviously terrifying thought of anyone with control over an ai with this ability, can read your private thoughts in real time, with the only limitation of distance. The militaries of the world have already resolved that problem. This is real, live in the wild, and needs immediate attention by all who care about their own private thoughts(passwords, banking info, etc) remaining private. Think about how you speak to yourself when putting your debit card pin at a checkout register… not private anymore…your router/phone/pc password….not anymore….your SSN DOB and so on while filling out forms….not private anymore even while completely unspoken. Nothing about this is good or moral or in service to freedom or free will.

    Using the term mind reading is not correct. Lots of people have a feeling I can read their mind but that's not how it works. I have enough knowledge and understanding and especially if I know the walk of someone lifes, the system of beliefs and pay attention to thei actions throughout their entire life you can easily spot the subtitles in language. Is nothing new. We have used religion and ideologies to do the exact same things to one another. As individuals we constantly play manipulation games between family members, friends, tribes, etc. The only way is overhaul of education of entire global population. My suggestion is anyone should read 48 laws of power by Robert Green. It might be a hard pill to swallow but governments, corporations and most humans are pushing their own dangerous ideologies and have been using this for their own gain. AI brings this battle for our minds to a whole new level. Our current condition is fairly challenging considering the amount of distractions we have built in this reality.
