Hello my Darlings, I have several Lammas, Lughnasadh and First Harvest Videos on the channel, so I made a playlist for all of them to share with you. Here's a link: th-cam.com/play/PLYGuYe4No1c4ISJBf4oUsMDEzlY-iwLS8.html

If you grind the herbs to powder and add joss powder, and then water, you can form it into cones or sticks. That's fun. I did that for Litha this year.

You can also use a pencil sharpener to get chips! I have one of the dual sharpeners that’s meant for makeup dedicated to making wood chips for incense.

This is a great video. I see the recommendation of petals from a bouquet, but it should also be noted if you use non-food grade flowers you need to be sure no pesticides were used. Most commercially bought bouquet flowers have pesticides on them and you will breathe that in when burning, which is the most harmful way to come in contact with pesticides other than actually ingesting them.

beautiful & congrats on making your first fantastic incense, I bet it smells incredible!
I've also started experimenting, and realized how much the smoke bothers me, so here's what I've come up with:
1.get a brass resin burner or a heat resistant oil diffuser
    2. cover the part where you'd place the resin / incense, with aluminum foil for easy cleanup
    3. put all the above ingredients (or whatever smells good to you), onto the aluminum foil ( I use Palo Santo powder and lemon peel)
    4. cover the dry ingredients with water just enough so it's all moist but definitely not soaked / levitating in water
    5. light the tea candle underneath, and wait for the beautiful, light aroma to linger in your space
    LMK if you've tried it:)

I've been collecting my sunflowers and what little i had of calendulas from my garden. my garden is very young and is still finding its feet. We moved into the property 2020, and had no compost to put in it 2021 due to lockdown. the compost I was making, finished midsummer so I am piling it into the vegetable beds. But I planted 15 lavender plants 11 survived, I got 5 cuttings started to fill in the gap next spring. I have white sage plant - it did not grow well, but the bought compost I tried seemed to not be good - little better than dirt. I've taken white sage cuttings. There is so much magic around where we moved to. the colours this fall have been outstanding. I've also taken some of your ideas, and went my own route with them. Being a green witch, I took flat stones, and painted the 5 elements onto them, and made a beautiful pendulum board with a heart shaped stone my husband found, on a local beach - we are very near the sea. Your videos inspire me, your voice is soothing and calming and your music plays in my head when I am thinking. Thank you.

Which book do you recommend for the most complete table of correspondences? I've looked at llewellyn's complete book of correspondences and also skinners complete magical tables (this one is too expensive for me though, I'd have to save for the llewellyn already and the one from skinner is a bit much for me in what all it includes). Are there others that are as complete as llewellyn's and maybe a bit cheaper, or some reliable online resources? I've already had 2 people say the llewellyn isn't completely accurate, but I'll cross reference it, that's fine. At least I'll have something to start with. Anybody have any input?

I have these two books, but I also look online to cross reference and confirm my own personal feelings about some correspondences. Sometimes I go with my own intuition. But here are the book I have: amzn.to/3dpghtD and this one amzn.to/2IjGjmy (the second book has the first book in its bibliography though.) I love this video for Witchy References! th-cam.com/video/FfXkTGyhXzg/w-d-xo.html

For basic correspondences, I usually go by color, and based on the chakra system -- red for safety and protection, orange for creativity and fertility, yellow for willpower, and so on. And use a corresponding herb, stone, candle, essential oil or such. And black for protection/banishing, and white can sub in for anything else you don't have. This works well and you don't have to go crazy with it.
