This should be demonstrated on a real paver that's been sitting for 10+ years, to give us confidence that it'll work.

Phew... that one had been in all of 5 minutes, could have sucked that up with my mouth lol. Like the previous post says, try it on one rammed tight with weeds and 10yrs of compaction. Then I'll be impressed 😂

Needs to be tested on a block that's been in for atleast a few years. Also I would like to see it tested on a larger block.

That looks like it works fine when there is no sand locking them in. What do you then? Thks..jc

The paver base here is concrete/grout. The claw won’t be bending on compacted sand. Note also that there is no filler sand in the spaces. . . Not a realistic video.

You're correct. It was a "proof of concept video" that's all. Don't take it out of context. The tool works when used as stated on the package. All tools have limitations and if you're not capable of reading & following the directions for using any unique new tool, then you will likely fail, and you may even injure yourself.

I like the design of this paver puller but I do not know if it would work when pavers are put on concrete.. I see the bottom ears are Spring loaded and they shoot under the brick once you get it past the brick. Clever design.

Please read the Amazon listing and test your pavers BEFORE you buy it. Paver Claw cannot pull pavers off concrete.

What about pavers that have been down for over 10 yrs and are stuck?

  •  3 ปีที่แล้ว

I could do the same thing with a flat bar and a 4” Sheetrock knife

I see the comments below. Could just power wash the sand out and this would work just fine. Yes? No?

Folks, this DOES work. I didn't buy this product but I made my own with the same design. If you want to use a chisel and crowbar then good luck, lol. Of course, it won't work if the pavers are on concrete.

I tried it ... orderd it and no.... put sand between them that sets... this thing won't move them

As stated on the package; "Insure pavers are not set on concrete or have mortar / Polymeric joints".... "Polymeric sand (a type of mortar) must be pressure washed out first. "
This is why I say in the listing; Please read the instructions and test your pavers before you purchase Paver Claw.

Wow! That's right Anthony, you're very observant, yes that's styrofoam in my trade show demo box, because sand isn't allowed on the show floor.
The box is only to demonstrate the concept of how It works, and it does work when used according to the instructions. However, you wouldn't know because you've never actually used it. Had you watched the follow-up video, you wouldn't have made such derogatory comments.
