You appeared before I was going to shut down for the day. I am not stalking you LOL! You explained perfectly the key difference between percentage and whole number improvements. It took me some time to figure it out with researching. I finally asked myself what the hell I was doing researching something to the "Mastered" level when I am nowhere near the Keep Level and Troop Levels to warrant the percentage research? Just research what is required to move down the chain! Go back and master the real numbers prior to mastering percentage growth. I was a tad off topic but I appreciate your content. I am slowly building up General Johnston myself and cannot wait to take him to the battlefield as my Wall General.
The whole numbers are great for end game as well...I go with whatever rolls near perfect...although the % are slightly better as I said they can be debuffed...Glad you liked it...
@@gamingaddictswithgenghis thank you for your response. It is no wonder why so much time is spent involved with this game. These intricate details are valuable. Do you move to other servers often? Awesome! Thank you for this video. I was trying to explain the use of the solid number vs. percentages to some people and they were getting a little lost.
Excellent! most people think its an easy decision on % but thats cause they think the percentages act like compound interest...but percentages and whole numbers both add to only the base number...
@@gamingaddictswithgenghis does the % add to the total baseline with added whole numbers? I am wondering if you keep a refine on whole number then the % buffs off that
And if whole numbers don’t debuff then could you make a case for adding whole numbers only so that when you get late gsme (I’m k33) you’ll have an advantage since you can only debuff 50% of the enemy buffs
Hi can you refresh this video for a bigger keep? Heard flat refines do not work so well for bigger keeps - fast forward 3 years, I believe flats are also no longer working for you?
I got some thoughts about this and love to hear your opinion: I agree with the part about solid numbers can't be debuffed. But lets say someone attacks you with t13 Archers + layers. Don't they attack your t13 Cavs, because same tiers attack each other? So if you buffed up you layers big time with solid numbers they will only be touched by the attackers layers, which won't have a huge impact. Your idea would work perfectly fine if the attackers troops first had to kill all the lower tier to get to your higher tiers. So if I am correct it's only useful to use solid numbers if it comes to attack value, so your millions of layers have an bigger impact after they defeated the attackers layers. I hope I got my point across. Love to discuss this one with you because I'm about to refine my JJ and your idea sounded very interesting to me.
Hey, yes your thoughts make sense..another thing to consider is if you have a 700% horse hp, and the attacked can debuff 350+ you really only have 350 horse hp...so the whole numbers do help...also the whole tiers attacking only tiers is not an exact science...and most people attack with majority T12...so whole numbers beef up the T12 more than they do a 13/14...a high whole number will add about 20-21% on a t12...in the end...%s are better but refine stones are limited so making the most of limited resources is what its all about...
@@gamingaddictswithgenghis Yeah sounds about right to me. Do you have any experience on the whole number thing yet? Any noticable improvement? The point with limited ressources is a good one :) Another thing is that whole numbers for attack values are very low compared to HP or defense. Too bad you can't buff whole numbers via science :( Thanks for the fast answer. Keep up the content.
I’m sorry I’m using my daughter TH-cam account but the last thing you said Is it better to use hole number for attack general or percentages. Sorry that las part got me kind confused?!

@@gamingaddictswithgenghis Still a tad confused. Logically a debuff would debuff a % of the total amount of your buff. If your ground attack is 100, and the opponent debuff is 10%, it would remove 10 attack from you and leave with a buff of 90. I don't see any validity to the claim of % debuffs only working on % buffs but leaving the whole numbers alone. Mathematically that wouldn't make sense. Are there reports you can provide in a future video (maybe as a footnote) that can help prove that the solid points are a fair investment? Edit: Or are their reports in present videos that could be used?
Seige Range addition is a must have.....after that its flexible...but I have archer range addition..as most people do...and right now Im toying with the 3rd book as ground speed or mount speed...but some people like horse HP as well.
So percentage is slightly better then whole numbers but they can be debuffed so wouldn't it be better to go all whole numbers that way they can't get debuffed at all so in the end you'll be stronger? Cause when you fight high power players they have a ton of debuffs and you could avoid some/most of that if you went with whole number buffs right?
Correct, but % are better and if you out buff their debuffs its a large advantage....also its not all that easy to roll 4 high numbers that you desire...its a very difficult part of the game. So if you roll a high 24% you are not going to turn it down for a whole number.
Your videos are great . This is actually too advanced , I’m hoping for a basic video to help me deal with the generals whether attack or defence . Thanks

Any general that says IN CITY or MAIN CITY DEFENCE GENERAL are for defense...everyone else, 'press attack'

It is just luck of the roll and lack of refine stones
