Nice work, that tool can take hours to make and yet to pull takes minutes and some times you never use the tool again. This is the life of a machinist. Thank You
The ignition pin goes between any two sprocket teeth. Very elegant solution to an almost impossible problem. Did it once, since two machine shops refused me doing this. I refrugerated the crankshaft and staryed heating the chain sprocket and with a bearing puller started pulling it off in the meantime cooling the shaft ( still heating the sprocket) also with a protection on the cranckshaft end. It was not easy. Congrats on the puller. Will copy it. Thx
I’m interested to see how you align the gear on installation so that the timing is correct because I didn’t see any alignment pins or marks on the crank, love the videos👌
You read my mind , I have a yam tw 200 which has similar idea, but not sure if you have to buy complete web assembly with gear already fitted , but yeah aligning timing is going to be either 1 way or another if piston is at tdc so cam marks may not line up
I have idea that teeth are small, and overall diameter too. Maybe it is not so important, and on the top error will be not so big. Maybe a few mm on the left or right. But it is only idea. I need to check calculations when i had time.

You could make it ridiculously fancy by putting little gears on the bolt heads and then one central gear in the middle that centers on the plate to turn all the screws at one. Takes more torque though.
