    Thank you for this testimony. I’m 51 and bound to never let anyone forget about the holocaust. My kids aren’t being taught this in high school and I’m stunned by that. It should absolutely be mandatory educational material.

      I absolutely agree. My daughter's history curriculum briefly glossed over the Holocaust her Junior year of high school...too briefly. Study was not in depth. It seemed like a summary. Holocaust studies, WWII studies, IN DEPTH, should be mandatory in American high school curriculum.

      @@djholliday5132 - I remember Holocaust survivors coming to my Jr. High School class and speaking to us, the lady even showed us the tattoo on her forearm. Studying for standardized tests is the only thing the schools care about these days.

      The Holocaust should be studied in highschools worldwide. That is the least we can do to pay tribute and keep memories of more then 6 million innocent people being murdered just because of their being "different", their being Jewish!
      Never forget Holocaust!

    I have learned so much from these video testimonials created by the USC Shoah Foundation, and the survivors. This oral history was very moving & courageous. The survivors of the Shoah are almost gone. It is up to us to teach future generations. Humanity must never forget. We must stand with Israel & teach our children the devastating effects of hatred & discrimination. 🙏 ✌️

    • @Jerseyboondocks
      @Jerseyboondocks ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Do you realize the quality of audio and video back 30 years ago was very different than what it is now and that this poor man was nervous during the interview? You asked them to move the Mic's closer from now on while totally disregarding and not even thinking of how most survivors are now no longer with us, so there really won't be any recent or more interviews:/

    I listen to Holocaust survivors & have come to the conclusion that the ones who fair the best are the ones who aren't hardened by their horrific experiences. I do agree that everyone has the capacity to kill. No one is good, no not one. It is through seeking our Lord & Savior that we are changed & want to be more like Him.

      I am guessing there is some purpose to that, maybe to ensure the records are correct ? These videos were recorded in the 90s, maybe they were putting together some sort of record so survivors could find other survivors they knew or family members? That’s just a guess on my part, but I would think they wouldn’t make them spell unless there is a valid reason
