They actually should forget her explanation because she explains it wrong.
Now that is a real teacher. Keeps the children interested, curious, excited
And astounded. Science lesson in elementary school. Well done. ❤❤😮😊
Exactly! This is what should be taught in school today not that "alphabet" nonsense
Who said elementary school? Those are average 12th grader...
A really bad teacher, she explains it very badly, like someone who doesn't really understands what happens, it's not the CO2 that "suffacates the fire" it's the displacement of diOxygen (O2) away from the flame that does the trick. Burning a candle itself produces CO2 constantly so if it was the CO2 that was the real factor, the fire would just suffocate itself.
Retired science teacher here. For lack of a better term it is a “rush” to work with young kids around science ideas. When presented visually, and kids react like this, it is a great feeling as an educator. Keep up the good work.
I watched it several times myself. God bless our educators! (Pay them more. They are 💎 priceless, literally teaching our futures)
Praising god for it is quite ironic when those exact educators are being banned from teaching science in his name as we watch those videos…
Praise God for educators who teach children what's right.@@caifasvaca9451

Not sure why this video brought me to tears? Maybe it was just so heartwarming to see a good teacher…and just hearing how much the students seem to look up to her and respect her. The world needs more people like you!!!
That collective gasp is the sound of fascination leading to learning
Love the enthusiasm....PAY THESE TEACHERS!!!
Those kids are so engaged and excited they don’t even realize they are learning science. She genuinely shares and enjoys their reaction to learning something new. What a gift she is to the teaching world!
This kind of interaction is considered rude in many countries. When children express emotions like that, it makes the teacher's work much more difficult. I don't know how they do that in the States.
@@marias5088 As an ex-teacher, I have seen this quite a few times. It is more an ego trip for the teacher, and I have to admit I have done it sometimes too, just for the excitement. Ask the students the next day what it was all about, and they have no idea. She was explaining every step of the process herself, rather than eliciting a response from the students. It was all about her, and building up her reputation. A truly great teacher is in the background, encouraging the students to take the stage, not her. She is the limelight and it is all about her, not the students. Social media has a lot to answer for IMHO. She still did a good job of it, just should not be the main focus.
Would you guys like some cheese with that whine?
@marias5088 definitely NOT making the teacher's work "much more difficult". Tf do you want, a bunch of emotionless robots? It's the lack of interacting with kids on this kind of level that makes them resent school and we all know if you dislike something you're not going to do your best
@@chaznonya7610 I was not raised in America. When I was in school back home, I knew I had to study, keep quiet in class, and talk when asked. American teachers almost need to dance around kids to get their attention. That's just odd to me. I am speaking from a foreigner's perspective.
A teacher who is teaching and actually making a real difference in these and other children’s lives. No woke BS!! Thank you‼️‼️😊
Those kids are so into this. They're interacting. They are totally invested.

I'm sure there are many teachers like this. Unfortunately, one political party would like you to think otherwise.
Here's your assignment - guess which party that is?
No, we need teachers that understands science, sorry but not sorry, she explains it wrong.

@@domonicka.holloway6041 So simple she explains it wrong.
This teacher allows here students to express themselves because she is expressive. It allows more interaction in the classroom. This allows a freedom to express your thoughts and ideas.
In my elementary classrooms, we sat quietly, up straight, eyes front, both feet on the floor. We had to raise our hands to speak and if we spoke without permission we sat in the corner facing the walls. We were spoken to if we shuffled around or wiggled too much. It was oppressive for little children.
The difference is immense. When you can create excitement over the curriculum kids pay attention
Great teachers are worth their weight in gold! Imagine how many young minds were sparked with curiosity that will, hopefully, last throughout their lives.
You can feel the passion for her job 💯
Congratulations teach…you just created a few future scientists. Way to go!
Future bad scientists, her explanation is off, she seems to not get the actual science.

I especially like the way she responds to Wilson, acknowledging his doubt, but not lecturing him- she just playfully proceeds with the demonstration.
Fabulous teaching skills.
Except that these kids didn't learn anything, her explanation is wrong like she's clueless about what really happens there.
@@PRdeSO From the sound of the children's voices they are very young so they learned according to their understanding. They are learning basics that hopefully they will build on. If she tried to present science at such a great level that you understand they would be lost.😎
