Welcome to #Gangwon2024! The 4th Winter Youth Olympic Games will take place in the province of Gangwon in the Republic of Korea, which already hosted the Olympic Winter Games #PyeongChang2018. These are the first Winter YOG to be held in Asia and will build on the Olympic Games legacy and engage even more young people through various activities before, throughout and after the Games.
There are 15 sports taking place (Alpine Skiing, Biathlon, Bobsleigh, Cross-Country Skiing, Curling, Figure Skating, Freestyle Skiing, Ice Hockey, Luge, Nordic Combined, Short Track Speed Skating, Skeleton, Ski Jumping, Snowboard & Speed Skating) across nine venues, and you can enjoy the action both on TH-cam (limited coverage) and Olympics website (all available events).

Mao was disappointed with the fall, but overall she did a great job. She secured the Gold for Team Japan. She should be really really proud.

It was funny, Mao's combo 3Lz+3T only maybe should have gotten a q on a lutz, her flip is ok.

Oh my gosh the commentators. Mao has been falling at her quad toe only successfully getting it at the JGP but that will still get her decent points. They did not do their research beforehand.
Congratulations to all the skaters, everyone should be proud! There was some beautiful skating in this- I really Jia and Sherry's performances in particular. These athletes all have bright futures and I'm looking forward to seeing more from them! 👏
