Welcome to #Gangwon2024! The 4th Winter Youth Olympic Games will take place in the province of Gangwon in the Republic of Korea, which already hosted the Olympic Winter Games #PyeongChang2018. These are the first Winter YOG to be held in Asia and will build on the Olympic Games legacy and engage even more young people through various activities before, throughout and after the Games.
There are 15 sports taking place (Alpine Skiing, Biathlon, Bobsleigh, Cross-Country Skiing, Curling, Figure Skating, Freestyle Skiing, Ice Hockey, Luge, Nordic Combined, Short Track Speed Skating, Skeleton, Ski Jumping, Snowboard & Speed Skating) across nine venues, and you can enjoy the action both on TH-cam (limited coverage) and Olympics website (all available events).

Commentator, please be nice to these young athletes and have respect. Please address them by name and not “Chinese woman” “Korean guy” and commenting about a young girl’s weight is inappropriate. Please also refrain from giving comments during a performance like talking about the new age limit during Mao’s performance. Thank you.

In figure skating when you watch it there’s always commentators in fact in all sports there’s commentators.
Please change the commentators. A grown adult commenting on a 14 year old's body is weird and inappropriate. I hope the skaters do not listen to this woman.

как человек, посмотревший оооочень много выступлений за несколько лет, хочу сказать про Шимаду Мао. Мне её катание понравилось, прыжки хоть и не четверные, но все чистые, не тяжёлые, вращения понравились, красивые, центровка особо не съезжает. сама фигуристка вовлечена в программу, энергично и весело катает. считаю, что заслуженно получила самый высокий балл по результатам короткой. посмотрю ещё кого-нибудь, а то наших уже вдоль и поперёк пересмотрела программы... узнаю, как обстановка на международной арене.

It's so wonderful to watch the performances of Mao Shimada and Shin Jia back to back two of my favorites in Juniors or Seniors.

Anyway to watch this without the commentators because they are completely ruining the broadcast for everyone?
This is sports competition, it's not a broadcast FOR you, but for the athletes. You wanna give feedback on the commentating, fine, but remember we are watching their competition. The commentating seems typical to me watching competitions for 55 years.

Coming from the Juniors and being used to the GOAT commentator Mark Hanretty, this woman was a 1/10. Also, disrespectful crowd immediately leaving after Jia's performance. They could have stayed a few extra minutes for the Georgian skater. I expected more from the Korean audience.
Tsai Yu-Feng was very captivating. She PERFORMED. She deserved a higher score

Wonderful to watch these young skaters displaying such high levels of skill, determination and professional capabilities, together with a programme that includes a range of top level requirements.
Personally, I have few reservations regarding the commentators ( see below ) whom I thought provided a balanced and educated overview of each skaters performance. If one allowed, as I suspect for one commentator that English is not her first language, then perhaps certain subtleties of expression are missing, but they are knowledgeable and, I thought offered fair comment or a reasoned critic of any failed component.
Whichever way, brilliant to watch, and no doubt we are watching some future Olympic champions in the making :)

Everyone did so amazing and should be proud of themselves! I loved the top 5, they were well deserving of their spots, but some of my standout favourites included Yu-Feng and Anthea! Should be an exciting free skate!

The commentators are awful. Rude, disrespectful, negative. It is difficult to watch. Commenting on a child’s body is incredibly inappropriate. Shameful!
Is it possible to watch a version of this without a QR code taking up half the screen? Why not have it for a few seconds at the start or end of video. Or even in the description. Makes the whole thing unwatchable to be honest. I want to watch this event, not every other one.
Well this is my first time watching the Olympics on my phone and not watching them on NBC and I must say that the commentators sound condescending and they do not sound as though they have experience they are not fun to listen to either.
These commentators are not from NBC. NBC does not have broadcasting rights for the 2024 Youth Winter Olympic Games.

С отсутствием российских спортсменов стало не интересно смотреть фигурное катание.. они тащили за собой спортсменов вверх, а теперь посредственные спортсмены соревнуются междусобойчиком...

Some of the musics were simply not danceable, because too robotic. Music has to be therefore tailored, like the wonderful costumes.
