56115 working the 6E10 loaded coal slips as it comes out of the up goods loop banked by 60029 the class 56 was realy giving it some hammer this night back on the 30/11/2001
56 one end and a 60 the other both giving it the berries!! If you ever wanted 2 engines that would have no problem tearing a train in half that's the pair to go for.
That was spectacular sound and sight. The Class 56's sounds like a louder version of the GE Dash 9 going full pelt and the chug from the Class 60 was magical. I wish I could like this video twice already! Great catch.
Classic, that's the way to do it, with a little help from a friend! Nice, a great combination giving it some welly!!! What more could you ever wish for.😉👊👍

Little doubt thar Grid is on full power!
Just love the throbbing of a grid at full power! Not somthing captured too much on film! the dogs you know what! Cheers!
I saw 60029 a week ago on the Westbury to Southampton up yard
I like the way the class 60 is giving the helping hand at the back
the Tug didnt sound like it was doing anything other than ticking over compared to the Grid
