I love this video!! I'm sorry to put more work on you, but at the end of these kinds of declutters, I think people would find it really helpful to see swatches of the stuff you kept, classified by color. It'll be so good to see all the champagne sparkles next to each other, all the green golds next to each other, etc. I can see this being useful for any color cosmetics, actually
I think it would be so awesome if you could put all the similar colors of different brands next to each other on your arm for comparison. That’s what I’m missing here. So many look similar but a side by side would make it easier to make a buying decision. 💜
I have been watching this video in 30 minute bursts. My organizational soul wishes you had grouped them by shade not brand. Then you could have decluttered based on how many of the same color and finish you have and which are the best of the bronzes and taupes 😀
urban decay brought back diamond dog btw!! i think it’s only available on their website, and it’s currently out of stock at the moment, but you can sign up to get notified when it’s back in stock! i haven’t seen anyone talk about it yet but hopefully the color is still the same like the other moondust shades
Ohmygosh, same. 😍 It brings out that feeling of playing with art supplies. So satisfying to tease out the nuance and differences between the shades and textures, etc.
Also, Sephora single shadow in Sand Dune is amazing on blue eyes. It’s matte and is great on my mature lids. Add Hard Candy shadow stick in Cold Brew as a liner….absolutely stunning.
I really love when people with big collections do color comparisons like with the Flavedo Albedo and the Klavuu eyeshadows you swatched. Sometimes I watch declutters and am just dying for color comparisons, even if it doesn't lead to someone getting rid of any similar products. I know I could screenshot and do my own comparisons on this end, but I always feel like it'd be interesting to hear why someone's keeping 5 of the same color of something 😂
@@AmandaZ I appreciate it! I know it can be a lot of work and possibly not even that valuable to other folks, haha. Maybe just a roundup at the end, or a second, supplementary video? (Again, I'm cognizant that y'all always have to balance work vs ROI with this stuff.)
I’m taking notes 📝 for this one. Thank you so much for being so thorough Amanda. It’s so helpful you have no idea. I’ve had my eye on a bunch of these❤
Being so real, I can’t believe I just watched 2 hours of this BUT I didn’t even realize it was that long 😂 you kept my interest lol what an awesome collection and totally up my alley with finish and formula. THANK YOU for sharing, I’m definitely feeling inspired, even to revisit some products I already have.
Lately I reach for single eyeshadows over palettes, just a bronzer and single eyeshadow combo, it’s easy and looks gorgeous! I lean towards the same colour category as you so this video is awesome! My go to look lately CT Oyster pearl all over eyelid topped with UD Solstice on a center, you should try it, looks amazing! Rabanne duos are very good, but those shades you like are sparkle formula, icy ones are just a metallic finish. Majority of duos have both shades with simple metallics, and those are not even close to his sparkle formulation. Whoever looking into those, pay attention only to those with sparkle eyeshadow!!
I enjoyed your video so much! I have plenty I need to purchase. Maybe you can do a dupe for some of the ones you kept or swatch in families...Like all the olives, all the rose, all the browns.
Yes, please do another one and done cream shadow video! They discontinued maple pecan before I got to try it. If you can, I'd love to see what else is out there that would be a good maple pecan replacement! Looks so pretty for green and brown eyes
Well done Amanda! ❤ I can’t believe you had the patience to do all of that! It was beautiful to watch - watched it the whole way through, and as I am about to do my own declutter, will be so helpful. As I was watching I had to keeping running off to my stash to find ones you showed that were beautiful that I wanted to check if I owed. I mostly did and it was a good reminder to dam well stop buying them as start using what I have. It’ll take me a year at least so thank you for reining me in but also reigniting my passion for my own collection. You’re the best. Have a lovely rest and I hope you had a good hand mask session after all this!
A product called Inglot duraline liquid nwill revive anything that is dried up a bit. One drop will work. I got that from harry Makes it up channel I believe. She’s a UK based makeup artist I think.
I see this comment often & it perplexes me. Inglot duraline is meant to make any powder product waterproof. It was originally for their cake liner but people (mua's) quickly discovered that you can mix matte (or any) pigment with it & create fluid lines that are budge proof. I used it for yrs to create custom lipsticks using an all matte eyeshadow palette. Lethal cosmetics makes something that actually is marketed to rehydrate dried out cosmetics. I mean, maybe inglot does market duraline like that now, but I can attest from experience that it has never rehydrated dried out cosmetics for me. In fact, it does the opposite in my experience!
@@blendofdays it has worked for me but I’ve only used it once for a cream cream eyeshadow I think. Just a drop. Although if there is another product that was made for that I’d love to know what it is Thanks!

I tend to get overwhelmed by palettes thinking I need to use three colors at least. But I know there are tons of one and some ideas living in an undiscovered life in that palette.
What an eye candy this was! I wrote down several shades. It is a shame when brands discontinue their best shades. I am specially pleased when you find k-beauty shadows good enough to recommend because they are affordable and available anywhere in the world. I can't buy a lot of the American brands because shipping would be too expensive to EU and if the product already is expensive there's no way I can get it. Also, the price difference is huge between K-beauty and high quality western brands such as CT/Hourglass. K-beauty is cheap when bought from Yesstyle for example. Just checked the k-beauty shadows and only the Etude shade seems to be unavailable or discontinued, from the ones you liked best. It might be surprising but even brands like Elf, revlon or colorpop aren't available here. I have bought single cream shadows from Chanel but I find them to dry out too quickly compared to CT for example. I used to think Hourglass smoke had glitter fallout but now I use it with glitter glue. I base every eye makeup look with mac painterly paint pot to keep everything in place, even the cream shadows.
This is like the best single eyeshadow video ever! And we have the same taste. I can't resist a beautiful taupe! ❤ Thanks for the amount of time you put into this video!

Why does everyone else’s VB Velvet look amazing and mine looked awful! Patchy, flakey, and big glitter that got into my eyes and irritated them. Ack!!!
For daily use I tried decorte eyeshadows recently and I’m blown by them. The wear time and no creasing, no fallout no crazy sparkle.. same goes for suratt shadows as well. I would like you to swatch them

I enjoyed the whole video and took note of the shadows I can get. Thanks Amanda 🥰
Honestly needed this, perfect timing
Why does everyone else’s VB Velvet look amazing and mine looked awful! Patchy, flakey, and big glitter that got into my eyes and irritated them. Ack!!!
Same! I have bought them a few times and every time I end up giving it away because it’s terrible on me and has so much fallout. 😢
Makeup works differently on different ppl. For me a lot of stuff other ppl like makes me look scaly. Its just the way it is sometimes unfortunately.
LOL to the foreshadowing @ 4:50 but girl i love these declutters!!!
Omg yessssssss, a long declutter 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 thanks for making this amazing video Amanda ❤
of course!!! thank you so much for being here
Love this video I have learned much
And know I’m buying the v b mink thank you .
For daily use I tried decorte eyeshadows recently and I’m blown by them. The wear time and no creasing, no fallout no crazy sparkle.. same goes for suratt shadows as well. I would like you to swatch them
Loved this video so much - always appreciate your declutter vids. Just fyi it's "as opposed to", not "opposed to"
Would LOVE a one and done faves video!
