Great video. I get the watch and about the battery... 14 days? No way! At least you use the watch just to check the hour. I used to Check my sleeping, notifications and most of all to check my trainings, one hours weight lifting and one hour elliptic cardio and by the THIRD day I’m almost running out of battery.

@2:23 - incorrect - you can only read the complete notification - if the message is longer, you only see the part that goes into a complete notification. This is both true for iOS and Android since the Huawei app can't access that data (it can only read notification data), and trust me on this since I'm a developer ;)
The best vid I've seen for the watch great job. One question if your wearing the watch and don't have your phone with you how much functionality do you still get. Will it still do fitness tracking at the gym etc. Do you only lose the notifications of messages until you reconnect to your phone. Thanks

it support 90+ activites , however for most of them it just collect and show HRM , for example generaly swim watches also calculate your stroke rate based on movement of hand but this watch do not have that feature .

This is a great review, so good I bought the watch.I have a question: I'm assuming your in the UK (as I am), looking at what you can do really impressed me, particularly changing the watch faces etc, now I've got the watch my heath app doesn't have the icon for watch faces ? Ah, ok yes. For some reason the Apple version of the Huawei Health app doesn't have this. The only way round is to pair it to an android at some point & download a bunch of watch faces to the device.
Just an update: So I was having a lot of problems with my watch losing contact with my iPad and refusing to pair etc, got in touch with Huawei and they pointed the finger at the Apples version of the Health App.I would suspect that Apple would have to legally provide the App but as it happens it's a lame version of it, as you can get a much later version if you have android . So what I did was to delete the Health App off all my iOS stuff and installed the App on my wife's Amazon fire 8HD. I now have all the features running, watch faces, dynamic mapping etc it's so much better !
micael Vergara I got mine lastweek..unfortunately Not working properly on ios device..watchfaces are not available otherwise you’ll have to connect to android phone to install the watchfaces and connect your ios afterwards
About Heart Rate and Spo2 reading, is it 100% accurate with real medical in hospital ? I'm wondering because of this pandemic that one will be pretty useful. I'll appreciate if you could answer this question
Hi! Awesome information. I have a problem, im trying to change my watch face but i cant do it. I have an iphone 11 and when i go to "devices" in the app, I just have the option to enter to my device preferences. I dont have the options that you have down there. "FEATURED" I have update the app and the watch and I still with the same problem.

Yes you won't receive any call or text notifications if you're not connected...lets hope they do a sim version in the future.

I’m not sure if it was a European watch face. It seems a lot of people are struggling to find it. It was called Xing Pan.

Honor magic watch 2 or Huawei GT2e . Which one you suggest and why? Both have the same price.
They are pretty much the same watch. Just some minor design differences. I think you can't go wrong with either.

So if the freebuds are connected and you are listening to music from the phone than you can't change the songs with the watch...?
The issue is the GT2e can only connect to one device at a time. If your earbuds are connected to your phone, you can use the watch to skip tracks ect.

Do you prefer the clear ring of the light green strap of GT2e versus the numbers around the watch face in the black and red strap versions?
Honestly I prefer the cleaner look. The numbers are not that necessary for me personally.

That watch face name is Xingpan you can search and find it in the section of watch faces into the health app of huawei.
