      Even ten years ago, when I was vastly more socially inept, something about Boogie's Francis bit didn't jive with me, so I never watched his content. In hindsight, it was the lack of a tongue-in-cheek feeling, like Francis's tantrums and terminal childishness wasn't a construct of uncharacteristic hyperbole, but of an unleashed id, and the act was pretending that Francis was an act. Plus, I've known too many morbidly obesse people to know that no one gets to be 400lbs without serious problems in their lives.
      I only heard about Boogie again when the buzz around him was that he was such a repugnant reprobate, so I guess I was right about him all along.

    • @DaMaster012
      @DaMaster012 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      "I'm a victim" is code for "I feel bad, it is your responsibility to give me free stuff until I feel better." What other create survives this way but an infant, shrieking until an outsider comes to remove it's discomfort? The victim mentality is literally the terminal dependency of the infant mindset mixed with learned helplessness and the vices of adulthood. The self-appointed victim is nothing but a virulent parasite who decrees themselves entitled to your resources and sympathies, for which both your generosity and benevolence will go unreciprocated or paid forward.
      It's sardonically fitting that Rags during the course of the Boogie arc brought up Ayn Rand's philosophy that the most evil of people are those who manipulate and twist the righteousness of others to serve their own wicked goals, because if Boogie had somehow made it to Rapture and defrauded people through lying about having cancer, he would have been thrown into the nearest compression chamber, and his pulverized remains used to feed the crab farms, so some good could have come from his worse than worthless existence.

    I have to correct Clown's comments about 40:00 minutes in. When he joined on Lolcow Live, Boogie's brother never confirmed that he was SAed because Boogie purposely omitted that detail when he asked his brother.
    I'm paraphrasing, but it went something like this: "Hey Bryan, people don't believe that mum was physically, emotionally and uh abusive towards me." He hesitated before saying s*xually because it his brother probably has no idea about it. Not that I'd take his brother's word anyway because he was trying to help Boogie lie about his cancer by leveraging his PHD.

      Yeah, people seemed to think him being a spineless fence sitter was really cool prior to him vs Anita Sarkesian and him simultaneously playing the victim while trying to convince people that took his side that she was actually reasonable afterwards.

    Rags once again with the least thought out analogy when he was talking about engines and fuel. Thats equivalent to saying this product sucks because it doesn't work when I use AA batteries instead of the labeled AAA it requires. He needs to stop interjecting these cringe comments. Theres always a weird silence after he acts smarter than he is.

    8:05 incorrect fuel mixture=bad motor😂 spoken like a true 20 year old. Sound like my sister when my 72 Buick takes more than one starter cycle to crank up. If you got a motor that runs on any mixture its probably a peice of yard equipment 😂

    Having Mauler explain it three times to these people makes me depressed. I realize that when he pointed that out, people aren't picking up on it, meaning they think there's nothing wrong with shortening a trauma and only stating the "highlights". They. Were. Gripped.
