@@RobosenOfficial I guarantee you will make millions of dollars by using the original G1 style transformers and you will make even more money by using the sound clips from Chris Latter the original voice of Starscream and Frank Welker as the voices of Soundwave and Megatron. There's not a transformers fan alive that doesn't remember Welker voicing megatron in transformers the animated movie with lines like "I'll rip out your optics" and soundwaves classic "As you command megatron".
If you guys make them I and many others will be buying the entire line up of them 👍

Eh, not really. Mobility still seems pretty limited. I highly doubt any stop motions will use these. Perhaps in the future, when they get more advanced.
Basically this is what animatronics back then.
If they create a matching Megatron and Starscream that can transform into an actual drone that can fly, please take all my lifesavings.
If they did a Starscream, they could do the rest of the Seekers easily.

Nice one! That resembled video tape, minus the auto tracking adjustments. But I’m glad I gave that a whirl as well.
240p was a nonstandard video format that pretty much only game consoles used.
TV broadcasts, and video recordings were at the 480i standard.

This costs less than the cheapest of iPhones... I don't think this requires 5G cell phone plan either. I think the t9 should be cheaper still, given has five less several motors. Two of them are clearly for the extra wheels, two of them are probably for the flipping fist, and the last extra one is probably for the head.

@@ch4.hayabusa Optimus Prime is also much larger and has the original voice actor Peter Cullen. Peter had to record some extra sound bytes for us.

Do it if you can. For me it comes down to working a little more at work and cost cutting. As of April 2021, October 2021 is 6 months away so stashing an extra $150 and month will get you there. This is a "moment in time" collectible and an incredible piece of Transformers history.

But I just think if in 10-15 years the tf deluxe figures will be 30 us, then maybe transformers or at least hasbro ones will be dead because of 3rd/4th party and the high prices for hasbro small toys with a lot of incredible details that are unpainted.

Even though the price was $800 at Robosen instead of $700 at Hasbro, I jumped in. Better than thousands to scalpers on eBay.
$100 is not going to make a big difference in the grand scheme of things. I see this item going up considerably in value.

@@ferro706 a Chinese company invented the demo without Harsbo’s authorization some three years ago. Harsbo saw videos of the demo and decided to collaborate.
I was a happy boy in 1985 when I got the original Optimus Prime. I was happy with it for years until my big brother stepped on it. The trailer was destroyed but Optimus was made from sterner stuff.
Good job, faithful enough to G1 Prime considering there had to be compromises to make all the automation work. You guys have a fun job!

This is just, incredible. The amount of engineering, programming, and detail on this thing... i'm speechless.
I could call myself a G1 fan, sadly i didn't grow up in the 80's but i did have a G1 DVD I re-watched a lot as a child, and i loved it. Anyway, the point is, this is truly a masterpiece. a love letter (an expensive one, but understandably so) to G1 Transformers fans. I hope i'll be able to get this someday. Thank you for making this, Robosen. Your work is appreciated. Very much so.

This thing is great. The engineering is really cool, and the transformation looks pretty impressive for something done automatically by such a simple-looking device.
However, it has Scratch programming, a nightmare I'm not keen on revisiting.
I'm being a little hyperbolic, but the similarities in the programming interface are uncanny.

Can't say too much, but how can we just stop at one and give up the opportunity of building other characters. Currently Hasbro Pulse has exclusive rights in selling this product for a period of time and they might have an European distribution channel. Robosen is investigating that option to make it available in Europe as well.
@@RobosenOfficial Please make it available for Europe. I just researched the Hasbro official sites( in my hopes I can get this Optimus ), they have only North American one and an UK one,none of which ship in EU 🥺

So they made a $700 figure that transforms itself!? The problem with that is transformation is the fun. So basically it is a toy that's Uber expensive and excludes you.
We try to make life easier by having it do all the work. You can still do some work by customizing the robot the way you like. There are 3 programming methods.

Sounds cool. The mobile application is not accessible with the voiceover screen reader, for those of us with a Visual impairment. If that could be fixed, that would be awesome.

how come in some shots it he has that red panel behind his head and in some it doesn't? Is that piece removable? or they just take it out in this commercial to make it look better

@@augustosellhorn1722 You can manually remove the red flap. It does not auto hide. Removal of the red flap does not affect operation of robot.
