There's something wrong with a system where dental work is so expensive that it's cheaper to fly to another country than to pay a local dentist. Not that I'm criticising you for spending your money in a certain way.
The US healthcare system is a joke.

Thanks for your video. I’m going this summer. I’ve been doing my research, I’ve reach out to sum dental clinic in Costa Rica.. and I’m already impressed. Wow! I’ve actually reached out to Kaver dental. Not sure which dental clinic to choose as yet tho. they’re all super nice, informative, and professional.
I wish I knew exactly what you had done, and the cost. That's the main reason to go there. For me, I have dental insurance in the U.S, however, it doesn't cover implants, which would save me 2 thousand or so, going to Costa Rica.

Yes yes yes! I've gotten a couple good recommendations like goodness dental in CR, But I'm just still planning. I have a consultation here at home on Thursday, I'll have x-rays and whatever else needed to send for a good quote, I'll be bringing my fiancee and 3 year old.. lot to plan. Which dentist did you go to? Feel free to email me. I'm very lost in this process...😆 I've done a trip to DC for medical work but I'm only in delaware. Big difference.

I went to Kaver Dental, which I really recommend - but honestly, I would email Bob at costricandental@comcast.net. He is here in the states and works with many dental clinics in Costa Rica - he can get you a discount at many places and reserve/book everything you need.
He can also help answer a lot of your questions for you!

Hi, how long did you have to wait in the immigration line at the airport in CR upon arrival?
I've been there, spent less time getting through immigration in Costa Rica than leaving JFK in NYC as an American citizen. The US is a ridiculous place.
How much did your dental work cost?
I'll make another video with the specific break down of costs - but everything I got done (including flights, food, hotel, and dental work) was around 6,000 dollars.
I am going in 3 weeks and tempted.. did he do the bottom teeth too and how are they now.
Just whitened the bottoms.
I love them - I really love the way my teeth look now!
Not sure if I missed it but you do a close up of the before and after. I’m a bit scared of getting an implant and what place did you go to because I’m sure they are not all quality places.
I didn't do a great job at before and after, unfortunately. You can see what the old ones look like in the first video I did though.

Schaefer Family Adventure any reason why you didn’t choose MEXICO ??? I’m in Arizona so it’s closest and cheap as well but looking for more insight on particular choices from people who have traveled for work

Honestly, the work looks good, but you do nothing to explain costs or anything. If the point of this video is to say how it’s cheaper to go to Costa Rica for dental work I need numbers. I find it hard to believe it was cheaper to book a flight and hotel for a week plus dental work (plus all your meals) that it was cheaper than to just do it in America. Give me some hard data! Give cost breakdown and analysis.
