I've been listening to these guys for 30+ years...they set THE standard for A Cappella, IMHO. I learned two of their tunes, all the parts (but...to be honest, I had to LIE DOWN to be able to sing the lowest and highest voices) after that, I decided to learn the most comfortable voice (formerly Dr. Cedric Dent's baritone). Man, these guys sound just amazing; I've learned lots, just from listening to them. "My Friend" is brilliant, with Ray Charles. Never ever stop singing, gents!
Maybe not right away, but one day im going to perform in front of them. Im 13, and when i was 7 i saw them in person! It was the best experience ever!!
I am a drummer first, but I do sing. I line up more Dave's tone and range. With that being said, a lot of guys with low speaking voices, have GREAT falsetto voices. Even natural high tenor. Stokley from Mint Condition has a low speaking voice also.
You guys have neglected the mother land Africa, we need to see South Africa on your itinerary. You will wonder why you have not come earlier once you have a taste of the African Audience.
Best acapella group in human history!!!
The Bass is Mad Dog ! Sitting Down!

"Just in Time" is one of their most complex charts so to even attempt this live shows their mastery. They will always be THE standard!
And you're so right. They make something so extremely hard seem effortless.
Thank you Take 6, you're amazing. Love & Light from South Africa, Nelson Mandela Bay.
I love their music and admire their voices..❤❤❤
Claude's voice is soooo low when he speaks!!! How is this possible? He has been the highest voice in the group, always!
???
Wow.......
You use different muscles in your vocal chords when you sing than when you talk
It's falsetto.
Falsetto...my voice is deep but my falsetto is uncanny!!!!
