I have no affiliation, I ordered and paid for my pedal in full, this is a 100% unbiased review.
As a new sudscriber to your channel, I thought I'd pipe in and let you know there are people out here who really enjoy your willingness to share your technical knowledge.
Excellent follow-up to your incredibly informative previous video on maximizing amplified upright bass tone. I was looking for an affordable solution, and the fact that these are hand made in the US and I get to support a home business is a bonus. I just placed my order for a TH Audio Piezo Buffer and am anxiously awaiting the chance to try it out with my rig.
Keep the good content coming.
Thats such a nice comment to read, thank you! I have had quite an extended break from making TH-cam videos, for no good reason really. This comment makes me itching to get back into it! :-)
The Bosd TU2 has an input buffer and an impedance of 1 M, according to their web page.
Thank you for the video. Good information.
Thanks for the video. I have a Headway-EDB2. I know it has EQ, notch filters, and many more bells and whistles than the TH. But if one overlooks that, just as a buffer, does it also do the same thing as the TH? I cannot seem to hear much of a difference...
Sorry for the late reply! Yes, the headway is an excellent buffer with its 20 mohm input impedance! I have used one in tour for years, but had to replace it lately due to the pots wearing out. Great unit!
@@frodebassist Thanks for your reply Frode. when I listen to your video, the difference is clear. But when I try with/without my Headway on my Markbass CMD-121P, I cannot really hear much of a difference. Could it be that the Markbass is "optimized" for contrabass (whatever that means) or should I give it another try?
thanks for the video! how do you think this compares to the Wilson Gain One? when used with a Wilson K4 Pickup?
What's a chooner?
