I'm not sure about this, but suppose the ball is inside the penalty area (red line) BUT happens to be playable, never mind why. Can I attempt to play it where/as it lies?
You must also have complete relief, correct? So if the ball lands and rolls back and you no long have complete relief, can you place your ball where it landed?

It stopped being called a water hazard in 2019. It's a penalty area ffs.
