I'm a newbie to your channel. So I've been binge watching since last night. I started back 4/5 episodes. I joined because I watched y'all on SV Delos, SV La Vagabond & I think Sailing Doodles 🐶 I also watch Sailing Nandji, Sailing Nahoa, Tula's Endless Summer and a couple of others. As you see I watch sailing. But I fell in love with their diving. And after seeing your dives on their channels. I had to join yours. I'm neither a sailor or diver. I'm just a 57yr young girl (Pisces) that loves anything to do with water. I live on the Galveston Coastline. So I'm a enthusiastic Fisherwoman. For food and not sport. I love the beautiful dives you do. And I especially love your island visits. I enjoy seeing the true natives of their island. And how you help them out. You all have such beautiful souls. And I am very happy to dive with you from TH-cam. Please let us know how Patrick is doing. I was so afraid the infection would get in his blood stream. I wish you all the best on your next journey. Your submarines images make me jealous! I have dived maybe 30 or 40 times in my life. I don't dive in Quebec because I don't like diving in cold water so I only dive when I go south. I dived mostly in Cuba but also in Belize, Dominical Republic and once in the Red Sea near Dahab in Egypt. I'm 63 and now have a pacemaker since a year. My hearth specialist said I should not dive until my situation is more stable so that means that I don't know if I will ever be able to dive again. Seing your images make me remembering the peace and beauty of diving. Also, I love the community and friendship of your boat. Whishing I could take part of it even for a week.

@Nate .. what you said about the most awesome spots / places that become mundane because we see them every day .. that's the truth!! (Think also of those who grow up there .. and do not realize the beauty they have been born into bc they have not visited the big city trash heaps.) So it's important to actually make time for a mental snapshot .. capture that beauty with fresh eyes .. and soak it in like a hungry sponge! You could so easily be in a completely different area .. such as the Eskimo climate environment with a totally different sea and people. Awesome photos of the undersea life. Great edits .. and a nice memory for your friend to take home with him. All the ladies on board certainly give a special lovely flavor to your crew .. and Peanut knows how to rock that sarong! lol Another great video .. don't let the jealous comments get you down! :-)
Bring around a loop line on stern tubes of dinghy to bow and through any bow point you have. The dinghy will be pull from stern tubes loop and not from bow. This will be fool proof and very strong. Just make a know on bow rope so line stays there , hard for me to put into words this but maybe you get idea..cheers
The ones that the crew wears you equalize normal because the mask is soft, but the ones that Jordan and Nate have you have to press in the forehead and that will press your nose and let you equalize (I haven't been able to do so yet/ Nerea)

Hey an open letter to all the channels I watch (@Sailing La Vagabonde, @Sailing Millennial Falcon, @Expedition Drenched, @Sailing Nahoa, @Sailing Parlay Revival, @Sailing Ruby Rose, @Learning the Lines, @Gone with the Wynns, @Tula's Endless Summer, @SAILING into FREEDOM, @Sailing SV Delos, @Sailing Nandji - Frothlyfe, @Sailing Uma, @The O'Kelly's, @MJ Sailing, @Sailing Zatara, @Sailing Popao - Underwater Ally Adventures) Yep I know there are going to be some haters out there and maybe I should not include other channel names in this letter but here goes. As people that are probably making money (some more than others granted) out of the environment and locations you visit AND quite a few of you now have young ones (or on the way) and should be thinking about the planet you are leaving behind for your family. Could you (as a combine group of TH-cam Channels) get some sort of movement going to help save the ocean (and indirectly then the planet). In your years of travel you must have seen the negative effects, whatever they may be (plastic, coral bleaching, lower fish stocks, changing weather patterns etc). Just throwing it out there for discussion. Just think if every sailing channel could rally their audiences into one combined voice how powerful (and global) that could be.
its a plastic boat you melt it back together if you know what type of plastic it is you can reinforce it with plastic trash from the beach its probably the same plastic as bottle caps
AFAIK, You can only melt thermoplastic. If you're going to reuse thermoplastic it has to clean, not as in I can't see it's dirty, but as in absolutely *no* foreign substances.
Did someone say "Ribbon Fish"? I was working on large tourist boats, we pull up at Underwater Observatory, passengers go for look in the underwater observatory, the current is running pretty strong, someone flushes the head/toilet on the boat, it empties direct into ocean, no holding tank. Long streams of toilet paper and human logs (poo) float across the underwater observatory windows, someone in the crowd asks, whats that (pointing to the floating toilet paper) quick as a flash one of the Deckhands tells everyone, oh thats a school of Ribbon fish! ..... they all believed it. True story.
The production values and photography have really taken a leap lately ... what changed? Not that it wasn't great before ... but lately things have been on another level.
