  • I've seen a few comments complaining that i do too many chili peppers, the reason for that is that i really really like them :)
    Other things are on the way though but it just takes time.
    The first few flowers didn't pollinate but eventually the fruit started to grow. I should have given some extra fertilizer while the fruits where developing to avoid some of the leaves from falling off, but it still looked okay at the end so no harm done.

    I love watching it bounce up and down every time it gets watered. Turgor pressure is a wonderful thing.

    People complaining that there are too many pepper videos? Good lord, I guess providing beautiful videos of growth you nurture over hundreds of days, for free, just isn't enough for some people.

    dont blame you for growing chilli peppers these look amazing to grow. i keep on trying to grow peppers but the possums always eat them. :(

    • @Texasmule
      @Texasmule 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Cats and some dogs are awesome for garden or just simple plot guarding if you're growing them outside. Possums aren't dum either, they eat the peppers before they gain their potency to ward of any large animal from continuing to eat the plant.

    • @Boxlapse
      @Boxlapse  ปีที่แล้ว

      I know :) but i love chili peppers, and they are a good subject for a time-lapse because they always produce fruit and are quite easy to grow. I have other stuff on they way though so just have to wait for them to be ready.

      Water.

    • @Lynn.Lawson
      @Lynn.Lawson ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The plant leaves go down (wilt) due to insufficient moisture. When he waters the plant, the leaves have moisture and go up. You have to keep a balance in watering. Too little or too much water will kill a plant..

    How is it possible that you always get the fruit? Do you need to pollinate the flowers or does it just happen on its own?

    • @ewok7075
      @ewok7075 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because peppers self pollinate

    • @Boxlapse
      @Boxlapse  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pepper flowers can pollinate themselves but i help them a bit by using a fine paintbrush to move the pollen around.
